Hannah, Robert Farmer

NORTHPORT Robert Farmer Hannah, age 69, of Northport, died Sept. 1, 2008, at Northport Medical Center-DCH. Burial at Memory Hill Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley F. Hannah; son, Travis M. Hannah; grandchildren, Robert Scott Hannah and Stephanie Alexis Hannah; mother-in-law, Ethel Bagwell Duren; sisters, Kathryn Robertson (Raymond), Bettie Park (Sealy), and Edith Morris; brother, M.S. Hannah (Edna); and nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers were George and Judy Walker, Jim and Verta Meherg, Jimmy and Jean Wilson, Raymond and Iris Taylor, Dale Jones, Kathleen Spencer, Lee Herring, Jeff Herring, Phil Herring, Dr. Carl Herring, Shirley Cain, Dr. Stephen Browne and staff, Med-Surg Unit DCH Northport, Amedisys Hospice, friends of The Ruth Sunday School Class, friends of Adult 3 Men's Sunday School Class at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, friends and neighbors of Eagle Cove, and former employees of ICG Railroad.

In lieu of flowers, at Mr. Hannah's and his family's request, memorials may be made either to Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund, 14468 Hwy. 43 N., Northport, AL 35475, Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, or Taylorville Baptist Church Building Fund. BACK TO THS 1957
