TUSCALOOSA | Howard Olen "Buddy" Hoggle, Jr., age 57, died December 21, 2002, at his residence. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from Valley View Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing.
Survivors include wife of 25 years, Sabrina Hoggle, uncle, Claudie Hoggle (Archie Hilda), aunts, Mellie Renee Dunn, Katie Jenkins (Hallie), Betty Carroll Tidwell (Frank), faithful companions, Hanna and Perry (Seeing Eye Dogs).
He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, local chairman of West Alabama Blind Vendors, vendor at Bryce Hospital for 26 years and an avid Alabama fan.
Pallbearers will be Steve Ratliff, David Evers, Blanton Parham, James Thomas, Ferral Wyatt, and Ray Wilkins.
Honorary pallbearers are Frank and Teresa Costanzo, Leon and Betty Allen, Lennis Hughes, Donnie Graves, Ferral Wyatt Sunday School Class, Class of THS 1964, Blind Vendors of Alabama, Charles and Rebecca Dorris.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Valley View Baptist Church Building Fund.
