Pastor: Andy Washburn
The purpose of the Leesburg Church of God of Prophecy is to provide an atmosphere of balanced Christian worship without regard to a person's race, culture, or worship style, which will result in service for God. Our primary service efforts will be to evangelize this community and surrounding areas and to provide an environment that will promote discipleship for everyone. These efforts will be accomplished through prayer, love, and teaching in a united and harmonious community of Spirit-filled believers who meet scriptural qualifications.
Schedule of Services
Our Sunday morning services start at 10:00 a.m. with a song and a prayer to start off the day. Sunday School begins at 10:15 a.m. and lasts until 10:45 a.m. Morning Worship follows and includes prayer requests, congregational and special singing, and all is followed by the Sunday morning sermon. Evening worship begins at 6:00 p.m.
Our Wednesday night services begin at 7:00 p.m. The service starts with our coming together in fellowship. We then have a speaker to talk for about 20 to 30 minutes and then we go to different classes. We have gleaners for the younger children, youth group meetings for the teenage to college ages, and a bible study for the adults.
