Personality: Thrais is a very serious youth. When he focuses his energy on what he wants, he usually attains his goal. However, he also understands the need for down time and will often take time off from his studies to spend time with his younger sisters who adore him. He is very kind to his friends, but many people mistake him for being snobby because he doesn't warm up to people quickly. When he is studying, he prefers to be alone in order to focus his energy and concentration on the task at hand, and he hates being interrupted. His favorite color is green as he has a special affinity for trees.
History: Growing up as the oldest son of the leader of the clan of druids he is from was not easy on Thrais. His father had many expectations for him, and he has put a lot of pressure on himself to live up to his father's and his own expectations. His mother is very supportive and often steps in to calm his father down when he's in the middle of ranting at Thrais for some mistake he's made. Luckily, Thrais has picked up his parents' ability very easily and has a quick mind, so these rants are few and far between.
At seventeen, Thrais has begun preparation for his coming of age ceremony, which demands that he survive in the wild alone with only the earth as his companion. Lately, he has been spending more and more time away from the rest of his people in order to prepare. It is during one of his two day camp outs that he runs into a dragon from the Starfall Dragonry. Entranced by the creature's beauty and ability to use magic so easily, Thrais followed the dragon back to the hatching dens with the hope of becoming a potential bonder.
