Guardian of her Dreams

I touched her tonight She cried out Why, I do not know

So, I lifted my hand Said, "I love you" And turned to silently go

It pains my heart It sears my soul It fills my eyes with tears

To see her fear And feel her pain Even after all these years

And so now I sit In a darkened room My sword across my knees

I'm not here for vengeance I wish no one harm I'm here to guard her dreams
