~A tour of Mexia~
In one of Anna's first Playboy videos, she went
on a tour of her hometown. I have made some captures from that video, and
transcribed it here:
"Growing up we were always very poor. My family
life was disrupted before I was a year old, when my parents got divorced. I
moved back and forth between aunts and uncles, and my mother. I have one sister,
four brothers, lots of cousins. I grew up pretty fast. I was married, had a
baby, and divorced all by the age of 18. But enough of all that, let me show you
around."
"Welcome to Mexia, Texas, my home town. Most
people pronounce it Mexia, and it's not, its Mexia, M-E-X-I-A, by the way.
And I'm gonna show you through my home town, so if you'll come right this way
with me... come on!"
"This is Mexia High, home of the black cats, and
this is where I went to school. I wasn't very popular in High School, although I
was flat chested, but now I have curves, see... ooh la la, ooh, wee wee
wee!"
"Hi, it's me, Anna, back at Crispy Fried Chicken,
where I used to work for four years. And I'm back, and I am bad!"
"And this is the house that I grew up
in."
"This is my son Daniel, ain't he cute"? Daniel is
truly the love of my life. I am so thrilled to be able to give him the things I
never had. We just love playing on the farm with all of our animals. He'll
always be my number one cowboy!"
"This is my daddy. I met him for the very first
time three months ago. When I Was younger, I used to look for his name in the
phone book. When I Was finally able, I contacted a company called birth rights,
and within a week they found him for me."
Anna's Father: "Uh, it started with a phone call,
uh they called me and wanted to know my full name and everything, and I told
'em, and, and they said they located missing persons, and they said obviously I
was the missing person, they asked me if I knew a Vicki Lynn Hogan, and I hadn't
saw her in 24 years, and I just... It kinda come as a shock, but you know ten
minutes later I Was on the phone talking to her and a few days later I was out
visiting her, and uh, I never expected it to happen this way, you know, that
many years gone by, and anyway, here she is, and here I am, and I think she's
really done great for herself... She's beautiful and I love her."
Anna: "And I love you, too... And he's my
daddy!"
"And this is my ranch I've wanted all my life.
The thing that makes me happiest is the I'm able to do things for my friends and
family, especially my son Daniel."
