Constable Nelson was born in 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the son of Loyd and Sharon Nelson. Loyd was the Alabama Army National Guard Recruiter in the Northwest Alabama Area for nearly 20 years. Keith grew up in Winfield, Alabama attending Guin Elementary School in Guin, Alabama and finishing high school at Brilliant High School where he graduated with honors. In 1998 Keith married the former Kaleisha Donaldson of Haleyville and they purchased a house on County Highway 59, where they live today. Constable Nelson brings over ten years experience to the office. He has experience in the private security field and also has had a sucessful and ongoing military career.

Where is Precinct #12 ( Officially Known as the Clark Precinct)?

Well, the best way to tell if you live in Precinct #12 is to ask if you vote at the Piney Grove Community Center located off of Highway 129. If YES, then you live in precinct #12!!!!

Here's another way to look at it:

Precinct #12 starts on the West end of the precinct in part of the Pearce's Mill area along ST HWY 253 and around Co Hwy 7. It continues East along the banks of the Buttahatchee River running South of HWY 278 along the river until it reaches the intersection of HWY 278 and ST HWY 129, in the Whitehouse or Hailey's Community. From there it continues East covering both sides of US HWY 278 untill you reach the Winston County Line. The Northern border follows the Buttahatchee River until it runs into Winston County also. Precinct #12's Southern border runs along Crooked Creek back to the area of CO HWY 92 and the Rawl's Road area, it continues back West along CO HWY 92 until it intersects again with ST HWY 129. From there it continues North of the town of Brilliant along CO HWY 8 past Underwood Road and along the part of CO HWY 36 from Underwood Road until 1 mile East of Calico Road. From there it continues back Northwest toward the Pearce's Mill area.

This is presumed to be accurate, but over the years voting precincts have changed some. One area in question is the area around CO HWY 92 and the Rawl's Road area. They are supposed to be in another precinct, but I think they vote in this one. If someone knows or if there are other roads, please let me know.
