FEBRUARY 18TH UPDATE CLICK HERE TO SEE: PUPPIES FOR SALE PICTURES Happy New Year everyone!!! I certainly hope that 2008 will be a better year for everyone. Bad news is that Tasha and TNT did not have any puppies, and that Takia had one puppy, no milk, and had to be spayed. "Boo" had five puppies, but two didn't make it, so she wound up with three. They were born on November 17th. There are two boys and one girl, and all three are doing great. Their first pictures are on the Puppies For Sale Page. Tasha and TNT will be bred again their next season to different males. I had a nice Christmas and hope you did too. We managed to load my oxygen machine plus seven cylinders of oxygen for my portable unit in the car plus all our "stuff" and went to Jackson, Mississippi, to my sister's for Christmas. It was a lot of trouble, but I am so glad I went just in case I don't get to see them again. My doctor says that I have about a year and a half left to live because my COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is so bad. I am living with my son now in Birmingham, and he is taking care of me. My life is EXTREMELY boring!!! Mostly I have to lie in the bed and read. I read a book a day. It hurts to stand and to walk because of my back and the degenerative disk disease. On top of that I am on oxygen to be able to breathe. I had four emergency trips to the hospital last year, and I can tell you that you do not want to ride in an ambulance!! The driver was going so fast that the guy in the back with me kept yelling at the driver to slow down or we were going to turn over! That was VERY reassuring! We were all holding on for dear life! The last trip in December was also "interesting". The ambulance got lost and was 40 minutes arriving. After 20 minutes a cop came wandering in looking around as if he were lost, then walked out. The only thing I can figure is that he was freaked out by my collection of stuffed animals all over the walls! Next a fire truck arrived, and the paramedics came running in. By that time, I had stabilized myself with a breathing treatment, and decided my son would drive me to the hospital since the ambulance still wasn't there. By the time he and the paramedics got me and my oxygen loaded into his car, the ambulance came screeching up. There is no telling what all the neighbors thought with a cop car, a fire truck, and an ambulance all with lights and sirens going parked in front of the house! ~ ~ ~ ~ |

Tinsel - Teaches - Ticky - Lily - Totsy
Tinsel Town's Topsy Turvy is the namesake ... "Tinsel". She is a little over a year old in this picture and is as smart as can be. She does 16 tricks on either voice or hand command. I call her my "circus" dog. "Tinsel" now lives with my best friend in Huntsville who has wanted her since the first time she saw her. Tinsel Town's Teaches Trouble is no longer part of the gang. "Teaches" has gone to live with a wonderful family in Spokane, Washington. She shares her new home with Maine Coon Cats that she totally ignores. Tinsel Town's Tic Tac Too was my sweet little boy, "Ticky", who has gone to live with his new family in Minnesota who also has Maine Coon Cats. One of the cats welcomed him by washing his face. He was as still as a mouse for the face washing. When he tried to return the favor and wash the cat's face, the cat ran. Tinsel Town's Tigerlily Too was my beautiful "Lily". She was one year old in this picture, and her long silky hair drug the floor. "Lily" was spayed and now lives in Virginia. Tinsel Town's Tiny Tot was five months old in this picture and was a precious little boy. He has gone to live with his new family in North Carolina who also have Maine Coon Cats. He likes to curl up and nap with one of the cats. What is it with Yorkies and Maine Coon Cats? I have tried and tried to get a new group picture of everyone, but so far it has been impossible! Maybe some day I will luck out, but now that the "group" has gotten larger, I don't know if I will ever be that lucky.

Tinsel Town's Tia Tamale
aka ... "Tia"
|
"Tia"
This feisty little girl is my darling little three and three quarter pound Tia. She is just bubbling over with personality and mischief. She dearly loves to grab the others' topknots and try to pull their bows off. She tries to remove every bow she can find from every head that she can catch. She has a little trick to get my attention. She gets on the stairs (third step) and scratches and kicks her back feet until I look at her. As soon as I look her way, here she comes flying for me to pick her up. Every time I sit in my recliner, Tia is the first one there where she grabs her reserved place beside me and proceeds to lie on her back and go to sleep. Tia's first litter with Teepo was without a doubt the most beautiful Yorkie puppies that I have ever had. Since she is so small and had to have a c-section, I will not breed her again. Now she's just my special pet. She has gotten used to our new home, and she even tried to bite the gas man's ankles when he came. That really surprised me. I think she thought she was protecting me.
Tinsel Town's Timeless Tasha
. . . aka. . . "Tasha"
|
"Tasha"
Tasha is a daughter of my International Champion, Doc. She weighs six pounds which is a perfect size for a breeding female. Tasha is very sweet and loving. She dances on her hind legs and waves her front paws in the air ninety miles an hour when she wants something. Tasha had her first litter of puppies last year, and she was an excellent mother. She loves her babies, and she even adopted Tori's baby to raise when Tori refused to let her baby nurse. Tasha did not even hesitate over welcoming Tori's baby. She immediately gave it a bath and pushed over to start nursing along with her own two babies. One day I caught her in Tinsel's box giving Tinsel's babies a little "snack" while Tinsel was out exercising. Tasha has adjusted just fine to her new home. I have a "doggie door" in my storm door, and she flies in and out of it all the time.
Tinsel Town's Tee-N-Tee
aka ... "T-T"
|
|
"T-T"
This is my sweet and beautiful Tee-N-Tee. She is a daughter of my International Champion, "Doc". Actually, her name does not fit her any more. When she was a little puppy, she was a little ball of dynamite, running everywhere and getting into everything. She wouldn't take anything off of the adult girls. She ran around growling like she was too bad to mess with. Now that she has grown up, she is a sweet and calm lap baby. TNT will stand on top of my feet and climb up into my lap every chance she gets. She loves to sleep in my lap, and she is as good as gold. She never does anything wrong and is a perfect little angel... the total opposite of when she was a puppy which is why her name no longer fits her. TNT's first litter was sired by little two pound Totsy, and she had three gorgeous puppies. Currently she is enjoying her new "puppy cut" which means no more brushing every day! She loves it.

"Totsy"

"Totsy" was my "little man" who weighed in at two pounds two ounces at five years old. He was only four inches tall. "Totsy" was an absolute hoot the first time he was around girls in season. He was chasing them all over the living room trying to breed them to no avail. He had the cutest, tiniest little bitty bark that I have ever heard. He sounded almost like a bird. He always thought that he was just as big as everyone else. He sired a litter of gorgeous puppies last year out of Tasha, and I kept one little girl named "Takia", but I don't think she will get big enough to breed. Totsy was a tough little guy who loved to play as well as sit in my lap. He loved people, and riding inside my purse when I took him out with me. He was bubbling over with personality and never failed to attract a crowd where ever he went. People could not get over how tiny and gorgeous he was. I lost him to a freak accident when he choked to death on some food that got caught in his tiny little throat. It's been two months now since I lost Totsy, and I still can't talk, think, or even write about him with crying. I will never forget this special little angel. He will own my heart forever.
Lake Buena Vista Bubble
aka ... "Taj"
"Taj"
This is my darling little boy from Lake Buena Vista Kennel in Brazil. He is an absolute sweetheart who want to give kisses to everyone he sees. When he was a baby all he wanted to do was sit in my lap. I would throw some toys out on the floor, and he would immediately get them and put them all back in my lap, then jump into my lap with them. He did not care about playing with the other dogs. He only likes people and laps and giving kisses. Once he discovered girls though, he added them to list of things he loved. Taj has now sired two litters of puppies. I am delighted to report that all the puppies in both litters were duplicates of him. It is wonderful to find a gorgeous little stud who consistently reproduces himself. Taj's sire is Champion Mephisto Du Val Verdoyant from France. Taj's dam is Brazilian, Grand, Pan American Champion Lake Buena Vista Romance. Both Taj's sire and dam belong to Lake Buena Vista Kennel and both are pictured below.
