Bare with me with the advertisements (which will be what ever is most searched on your computer, I do not choose these adverts!!) until I can figure out why my web host downgraded my site.
You can view my adoptable dogs on this webpage, petfinder.com, AdoptAPet.com, petharbor.com and many others. You can visit us on myspace as well.
Judy - Adopted
One of our newest Dals in would love a wonderful home. Her name is Judy and she was given a second chance by an elderly woman who found her a year ago emaciated, pregnant and heartworm positive. She was able to find homes for her puppies and treat her heartworms and now Judy is looking for a home where she can be pampered with attention, sleep on the bed and steal her masters recliner. If you think you are the family, contact us.
We thank everyone for their support in our efforts in rescuing dalmatians and sometimes other breeds. Several of our adopters have recently given donation to us and it has helped greatly. We could not do what we do without the continued support of everyone around us.
JACK - Adopted and now lives in TN
Jack was Judys mate and was just recently adopted to a wonderful couple in TN, the husband is a firefighter and is very active. Update on Jack, he has had no problems switching to indoor life, he did great at his first grooming visit at Petsmart, no accidents in the house, he sleeps in the bed, and has taken over recliners just like Judy. I am glad to here he is doing so well.
Home Again Dalmatian Rescue is a non profit rescue that rescues Dalmatians and sometimes other purebreds, you can read more about us under the "about Us" link. We mainly rescue Dalmatians that are in Urgent need of Rescue that are in Kill shelters and up for euthanization. We rarely take in owner release Dalmatians but treat each case individually and have taken Dalmatians from owners before if they wre to go to a kill shelter or were living outside. If you would like to give a home to a rescue Dalmatians you are in the right place. These Dalmatians have gone through alot and are now safe and looking for wonderful homes that will never abandon them again. We work out of our home so in order to see out Dalmatians an appointment must be made.

Newman's Mug Shot
Please spay and neuter your pets. By doing this it decreases
the overpopulation of unwanted pets and thus decreases the
number of wonderful pets euthanized in shelters every year!!!
Stop the Killing by spaying or neutering your pet!!!!!!

NEWS
UPDATE 12-11-09
Alot has happened in the last 3 months!! Judy, Dixie and Bunker have all found homes. Judy is going to Chattanooga, TN, Bunker and Dixie both went to firefighters over in Mississippi. They are all doing so well. Daisy is also pending adoption and so far its going very well. She will be in a new home before Christmas.
We also brought in another Dal a couple months ago from the Athens dog pound. We named her Whisper as she is Deaf, though that doesnt stop her from barking and making her presence known. She ended up being around 14 years old. She is most likely HW positive, has arthritis and flea allergies. She will most likely be with us for the rest of her days.
UPDATE 9-8-09
We have just recently rescued two beautiful purebred dals from the BJC animal control in Birmingham Alabama. We named then Dixie (1 1/2 yo female) and Daisy (5 yo female) Unfortunately Daisy came in with pneumonia and is HW positive. She is a candidate for HW treatment and now that she is cured of her pneumonia she is ready for her treatment. We have found a vet that will do it at low cost. If you would like to donate toward her HW treatment, please click on our chip in link under Support us. We are wanting to raise $200 for this treatment. Please state in comments what your donation is for. "Nana's HW treatment" Pictures to come when Nana gets some good whitening shampoo on her to get the "shelter stains" off.
