Justin Todd is the Owner of Alpha Rescue. Todd is a Lead Instructor in Flood and Swiftwater Rescue I/II, Vertical Rope Rescue I/II, and Confined Space. He is also a certified Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Service Instructor, and EMS Instructor. He also holds rescue certifications in Rescue Boat Operator through Zodiac Maritime Academy and NASAR SAR Technician III. Todd also teaches Confined Space Rescue at TEEX Municipal Fire School at Texas A&M. Todd has won Bell County Firefighter of the Year for 2008 and 2 Firefighter Commendation Awards for his work in starting and training the Killeen Fire Department Technical Rescue Team and rescues performed during Tropical Storm Hermine. He has also recieved the Certificate of Merit for his efforts in training throughout the past few years. He has also won the prestigious Higgins and Langley Memorial Awards in Swiftwater Rescue for Program Development. Todd has been involved in many rescues ranging from the rivers of South Texas, creeks of Central Texas, Hurricane Katrina, and Tropical Storm Hermine. He has been in the fire service for 13 years. Todd started out as a volunteer with Itasca VFD where he was Captain. Todd then moved to South Texas and worked for Seguin Fire/EMS. He is currently with Killeen Fire Department where he is a Fire Rescue Officer/Paramedic, Senior Paramedic, and C Shift Technical Rescue Team Leader/Coordinator.
