One of the few surviving members of the Machine Empire, Automon was a general of the Empire that now served under the command of General Venjix. Having had a neo-plutonium core installed into Lord Zedd's Serpentera, Automon and the other generals were about to board the mighty Zord when a team of ten Red Rangers attacked their base. Sending the Cogs to fight them, they were still stopped from boarding the Zord by Cole. When the Red Rangers morphed, Automon battled Leo and T.J. After being slashed by the Red Quasar Saber and the Turbo Lightning Sword, Automon exploded into a massive fireball.
