One of the few surviving members of the Machine Empire, General Venjix gathered what was left of the Empire on the moon, consisting mostly of four other generals and a large battalion of Cogs. Planning to avenge the destruction of King Mondo, Venjix had his forces dig up Lord Zedd's massive Zord Serpentera, which had been left burried under the moon's surface. Having had a neo-plutonium core installed into Serpentera, Venjix and his generals were about to board the mighty Zord when a team of ten Red Rangers attacked his base. Sending the Cogs to fight them, Venjix was still stopped from boarding the Zord by Cole. When the Red Rangers morphed, Venjix found himself facing Cole and Jason. While he pounded Cole effortlessly, Venjix found himself outmatched by the original Red Ranger. When the other generals were destroyed, Venjix quickly leapt aboard Serpentera and took to the sky. Before he could make it to Earth, however, Cole rode the Wildforce Rider down Serpentera's throat, destroying the Zord in a massive fireball, taking Venjix with it.
