Maligore was an ancient demon locked away thousands of years ago on the Island of Muranthias by the ancestors of Lerigot, a great Liarian wizard. Maligore was awakened in modern day by the space pirate Divatox, who planned on marrying Maligore and using his power to rob the universe of its riches. Maligore was the first foe of the Power Rangers Turbo, and, proving impervious to their weapons, mercilessly beat them. After their struggle, Maligore grew to giant size and soon found himself face-to-face with the Turbo MegaZord. Though Maligore at first overpowered the Zord, a slash from the Zord's Saber sent Maligore toppling over a cliff and into the sea, where the lava demon was destroyed once and for all.
