Dog Facts U May Not Know, or Maybe U Do

1. A dog can run 54' in 3.4 seconds. At least my dog can because he is FASSSSSSSSST!
2. Dogs make you get out of the house when you are having a big sad day.
3. Dogs do like to get dressed up. Honor that.
4. Train your dog when he/she is just a pup. Otherwise you will spend a lifetime picking up poop and cleaning pee and you will be mad all of your lifetime.
5. Visitors do not want to be mauled by your dog when they come into your house. Work on that. Remember no one likes your dog as much as you do.
6. Allow your dog to have sex with the neighbor dogs. It will be brief. He/she will be happy. Just don't watch.
7. Tell your dog all of your secrets. He/she is VERY trustworthy.
8. If you travel, check into Motel 6. They allow dogs and they have pools. The pools are outdoors, so travel in the summer.
9. Don't let your dog poop in my yard. I garden and I don't like poop squishing up around my flip-flops. Carry Baggies!
10. Give your dog a good name. You will be saying it again and again…for years. Consider one-syllable names. That works for every day use. And when you are mad you can use the full name. My dog's full name is Pearl Augustine Jones. Sometimes I call him Augie just to see if he is listening.
11. Bathe your dog often. My Pearl just takes a shower with me. It's easy.
12. Oh, and one more thing about your dog's name…Say it often. In your nice voice.
