Great site! Terranigma is a favorite game on the SNES. It's a shame Quintet is pretty much dead right now.

In all of the 19 years of my life I've never posted on a guest book before but the amazing fact that a tribute site as useful as this one is still being updated for a game that's about 12 years old compelled me to do so. This is an excellent game -- comparable in calibre to classics like Chrono Trigger. I originally played it in junior high when pretty much the gaming system I had was a Snes emulator on pc. I decided to replay it again recently and ended up finding this site while looking for a soundtrack. Terranigma rocks, this site rocks, and you rock! Kudos to your dedication to this great game man.

Hi ^^

I really like your site,
as you said it is different from other sites

you also explain stuff well :P (i wanted the songs in mp3)
just 1 thing i don't understand: the thingy to make mp3s isn't there, in the version 2.91 (im not sure if it's there in other versions, i'm too lazy to check that out :P)
but that's ok since i made them wav nd they sound good too :P

greets

I remember when my brother first got this game for chirstmas in 1996 here in Aus. It was actually the first RPG I played from start to finish. I now judge every RPG on how its story compares to this game. It was pretty deep for a nine year old and playing it again recently I realised just how much there was in terms of meanings. I really enjoyed it both times.

Hey, very nice site :)

was looking for a contact email addy but found none, so:

The reason the word 'Fluffy' appears over and over in German text is that Yomi's name is Fluffy in the German version.

Hello there. Heros and Heroinnes! Looking sharp y'all. Mike here. I haven't played Terranigma for awhile now. But then I came across a link from Youtube and it made me remember about my SNES famicom days. I last played Terra in 2001. And that time the music spoke to me in spirit and shook my spine. It was a real ethereal experience to me.

r3ap3r:I am interested and will be glad to help you out with the music. just need to find time away from work. And yeah, will you be realising the game for free or what? TQ.

I've been using SPCAmp for ages now; I only converted my SP3s (I like using the number to poke a bit of fun at the MP3 format) to WAVs because the DSP plugin I got didn't like them for some reason, and then to MP3 format so my now-playing plugin would have some ID3 data to read. This process works just fine even in Wa5; you just have to go through the extra step of writing them to WAV first. Figured I'd mention that for all the Wa5 users out there.

Lovely site; I must thank you for the soundtrack.

I've been playing Terranigma for the past week, ever since I found out it was the sequal to Illusion of Gaia. I've grown addicted to the boss fight song, and I'm even considering doing a cover of it.

Your page was linked on our forums over at TerraEarth for the soundtrack covers by one of our members. Glad to see we're not the only Terranigma-related page still around!

As a side note, in your secrets section, you ask about Fluffy. "Fluffy" is Yomi's German name in that particular release of the game. :D So, now you know!

Greetings from TerraEarth,

Hi,

just read the rumors and secret page.

You were asking why there is the word "fluffy" so often in the german translation.

Well, Fluffy is the name of the small round Person, you obtain through the Box.

( He explains the menues, says you where to go etc. )

http://www.askendia.de/images/spiele/snes/terranigma/fluffy.gif

Hope you add it in your section.

You know at first I thought the game was gonna be utter shit, but I was dead wrong it had such a godly music making me feel chilled and astounded at the same time. The story is worth it, worth playing and having FUN. I'm very glad I got a chance to play the game in 2000 and beating it again this year.

I only started playing this game last year or the year before - abandoned it for a while and now am finally playing it through properly. Like Elle above, I thought it looked very silly at first, but it's turning out to be a wonderfully absorbing game. It's great to know there are still others enjoying it even this far on after its release!

Thanks for your hard work!  More people should know about this game.  Unfortunately, for most of us North American gamers, it passed under the radar.  Hopefully, it'll see a proper release some day.

Awesome to see that this page is still up and running. This was a great game to play and definitely one of the best RPGS on the SNES. I remember first playing Terranigma sometime in the late 90s and loving every second of it. Definitely one of the best games on the console along with Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu 3 and Tales of Phantasia.

Man, I love this game! Definitely one of the best RPGs of the 90s along with Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. The improvements made in this trilogy clearly shows from Soul Blazer to Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. And it's nice to see that such an old page is still being maintained. :)
