This site was produced for the intent to educate viewers about the 1948 Tucker Torpedo. It was designed as a school project, and was created for the Tucker Torpedo because we felt that there are absolutely no sites on the internet the give the automobile any justice. All the current websites you will find are rudimentary and appear to have no well thought out plan of explanation. This is most likely due to the lack of many people even knowing or hearing about the Tucker Torpedo. We give thanks to all the sites out there that gave us the bits of information that were used to compile into a well laid out site. This site will hopefully be simple enough and visually pleasing so that even the smallest children can learn a piece of history. And hopefully we won't be sued for stealing every little piece of info from everyone else's site on the net ( that's why we have a sources page ). Unlike many other sites, this is not just a page dedicated to the Tucker Torpedo; this is a site containing multiple pages. The Tucker Club, with the website tuckerclub.org also has a site dedicated to the Tucker Torpedo, but with weak navigation simplicity and graphically pleasing. And we are not trying to sell any Tucker merchandise either; this is for educational use only. The only ads you will see on this site will be the banner located on the very top, and most likely a billion pop up ads since this is a free hosting site, which is how they pay for the space and bandwidth. So I apologize ahead for any annoying pop ups and ads that you may see that have nothing to do with this site. Hopefully you will enjoy
the site and learn a little bit about the Tucker Torpedo, and Thanks for
listening to my boring intro if anyone actually read it.
