Saiyuki and DBZ are related!

In some ways I can relate Dragonball Z/Dragonball to Saiyuki.
First of all: Goku.
The main character in DBZ's name is GOKU. Full name: SON GOKU.
The main character in Saiyuki's name is GOKU. Full name: SON GOKU.
DBZ's Goku is ALWAYS hungry.
Saiyuki's Goku is ALWAYS hungry.
In DB, Goku's main weapon was a staff.
In Saiyuki, Goku's main weapon is a staff.
All the characters in DBZ know some form of martial arts and know how to control their ki (energy) into blasts.
Hakkai knows martial arts and can control his energy into blasts.
When the Saiyans in DBZ are angry, they turn Super Saiyan.
When youkais in Saiyuki are angry, they reveal their true form.

Oh yesh, and Hilda sent me this:
Oolong the pig, and Hakkai. Hakkai is based of the pig character, Bajie in Journey to the West. Master Roshi and Gojyo. Master Roshi is a perverted old man that wears a turtle shell. Gojyo is, of course a perverted kappa. The kappa in Journey to the West had a turtle shell.
