Another cute little tag from Robert, looks like
santa kinda missed the chimney...LOL

Before we start, I flipped my
letters as they fell but I didn't put that
in the tut, your choice
Open template in psp....open your font if you are using mine
and shrink it to task bar.....close off all layers
except the bottom layer....with your text tool...size set at 30.....click on your font...
......line set at 1...
stroke set at white...fill set at your colour....floating and antalias checked...
click the auto kerring and set it at 150...
type your
name....
place this text at the bottom of the canvas, right hand side...
re name this layer...text....now open the santa and and the
line layer place the reindeer hoofs on
your line
add another layer.....text size set at 18....floating
and antalias checked....and using the same kerring settings...type your
name..click on the de form too and the small text being your active layer...
turn the text so it sits right on the runners
re name this small text
I added a layer called line, this way I can move my santa
without him jumping all over....you can use my line but if you want him
to take a different route just delete my line...add a new layer and with your
draw tool draw the line you want him to take...re name this layer line...
move your layers around to look like this
1)Close off all layers except S1...moon right...house and
background....edit...copy>merge...In AS...right click and paste as new animation
2)Close off S1...open S2...edit...copy>merge...In AS...right click
on last frame......paste after current frame
3)Close off S2 open S3...edit...copy>merge...In AS...In AS...right click
on last frame......paste after current frame
4)Close off S3...open S1.....open line...open santa.....make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa
off the canvas to the right leaving only part of the reindeer showing...
make sure you keep the hooves on the line...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
5)Close off S1...open S2.....open line.......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa
on to the canvas with first reindeer showing...and 1/2 of second reindeer
showing.......close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
6)Close off S2...open S3.....open line.....make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa
on to the canvas with all of second reindeer
showing...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
7)Close off S3...open S1.....open line....make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa
on to the canvas with 3rd reindeer showing.....open small text
and place it on the runner...
..close off line layer....edit...copy>

8)Close off S1...open S2.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa
on to the canvas...now you
should have santa showing...with the mover tool place small text on
the runner......try and find a spot on the runner to place one of the
letters of the text so you will know where to place it each time...
this is where I placed mine

merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
9)Close off S2...open S3.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa further down..
on the canvas...move small text on the runner and try to place it the same as previous layer....

10)Close off S3...open S1.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa further down..
on the canvas...move small text down...
lasso around the first
letter ..click inside to tighten the ants....place the letter on the side
of the chimney, he missed the chimney...selections...select none.....
...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
11)Close off S1...open S2.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa further down.....
lasso around the 1st letter...click to tighten
ants.......move it down heading to wards the first letter
of your name, we should have each letter make about 4 moves ,
so move santa a very short
distance, just enough to have him move.....
lasso around the second
letter ..click inside to tighten the ants....place the letter on the side
of the chimney,..selections...select none...
lasso around the balance of your small text and place
it on the runner.... try to place it the same as previous layer....
...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
12)Close off S2...open S3.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa further down.....
lasso around the first letter....move
it further down....
lasso around the 2nd letter...click to tighten
ants.....move it down....
lasso around the 3rd letter in your name and
place it on the chimney...
lasso around the balance of your small text and place
it on the runner.... try to place it the same as previous layer....
..selections...select none...
...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
13)Close off S3...open S1.....open line......make sure
the hooves are on the line and with the mover tool move santa further down.....
lasso around the first letter....move
it further down to sit just above the first letter of your text....
lasso around the 2nd letter...click to tighten
ants...move it down....
lasso around the 3rd letter in your name and move it down...
lasso around the 4th letter of your name and place it on the chimney...
lasso around the balance of your small text and place
it on the runner.... try to place it the same as previous layer....
..selections...select none...
...close off line layer....edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
14)Close off S1...open S2.....open line......make sure

the first letter of your text and delete......lasso the first letter of your

merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
21)Close off S2..open S3... open line and move santa off the canvas
so only 1 reindeer is off the canvas....open text...lasso around the
7th letter of the small text...delete...
close line layer...edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
22)Close off S3...open S1... open line and move santa off the canvas
so only 1/2 the sleigh is showing...close line...edit...copy>
merge...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame
23)Close off S1...open S2...close off santa...edit...copy>

Taking him back
1)Open santa...image mirror...with the de form tool place him on the line going up...
Now to keep him on top of the moon you will have to drag that
santa layer to above the moon layers..
Close S2...open S3....Open line.....place santa on the line and move him so just
the first reindeer is showing....close
off line layer......copy ...merge...in AS
right click on last frame...paste after current frame
2)Close off S3...open S1.....open line....move santa so 2 reindeer are showing....
close line..
edit...copy ...merge...in AS
right click on last frame...paste after current frame
3)Close off S1...open S2....open line....move santa up further....
close line...
edit...copy ...merge...in AS

move santa up further....close off moon left...
open copy of moon middle...close line.......

Edit...select all...animation re size to 400, this is your choice,
you can leave it as big as you wish..
All that's left is to save....make sure when you save this tut when the Animationn
Quality versus output size opens you click on the customize button....
click the optimization tabmake sure.....write minimal frames is NOT CHECKED
And your done!!!!!
