The Civella Crime Family is a LCN family based out of Kansas City, MO. Many find Kansas City to be a rather odd place for a powerful LCN family to be based, however this is just the case. The Kansas City Mafia Family, like other Mid West and West Coast LCN Families, operate with the blessing of The Chicago Outfit. The Kansas City LCN Family was a major player in the Las Vegas Casino skim, and the Family itself was ravaged with Federal Racketeering Indictments centered around the Las Vegas skim. The Civella Crime Family, like most American LCN Families, is now a shell of its former self although it is still a fully functioning LCN Family which continues to be involved in traditional Mafia activities including bookmaking, loansharking and narcotics trafficking.
