Fundamental Alternative Bibical Religious Groups

Jehovah's Witnesses

Neither JW's nor LDS (Mormons) are dangerous sucide-bent cults, as the Anti-Cult Movmements/Fundamental Protestants would have people think. Though, as John Trott, editor of Cornerstone magazine of Jesus People USA, spoke in his article, the ACMs would lump all alternative Relgious groups together, and no so more than it seems with Mormons and JW's. As John Trott said, "It's as if they say what's the difference? they are all the same."

KEY BELIEFS OF OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES THAT RUB FUNDAMENTAL PROTESTANTS (THE ACM) THE WRONG WAY:

1. God is not a trinity

2. Holy Spirit is not a person, but is God's Active Force.

3. The earth will be restored back to it's orginal perfected Eden-state. Where there will be the resurrection of both the just and unjust. Earth is humankind's home not heaven.

4. Hell is simply a mistransaltion of the Hebrew SHEOL which means, "Humanity's grave."

The above the key beliefs that JW's embrace that p.o the Fundamental and/or Pentacostal Protestants/ACM.

Church of Jesus Christ & Latter Day Saints

KEY BELIEFS OF THE LATTER DAY SAINTS

1. There are '3' relms to heaven. The first is the lowest, the second is better and the third is the highest and most desired.

2. Mormons believe that all of Christ's true believers have the pontential to become gods in the after life. This relates to the above and the highest relm of heaven.

3. "Family Is Forever", is a well known saying with LDS. It means all family and kin will be reunited in the afterlife and thus is why their interest in learning of everyones family tree.

4. There are '3' states after death. First there is paradise. Unlike JW's, they do not believe this earth made renewed. Rather, the LDS believe that paradise is a temporary state of place that dead spirits go while they awaite their full resurrection to be asigned to a place in one of the '3' relms of heaven.

These are some of the key beliefs of LDS that p.o the Fundamentaland/or Pentacostal Protestants...aka The ACM.

Both JW's and LDS are critisized by the Fundamental Protestants for their extra books such as how JW's made their own translation of the Bible The New World Transaltion and how much they quote and use their Watchtower magazines. And how LDS has it's, "Book of Mormon." However, the Fundamental Protestants highly lean on their own writters publications, such as the famous ,"Left Behind" novels and Greg Laurie's "New Believer's Bible", which is a version of The New Living Translation New Testament filled with Lauries interperations of each and every passge or scripture in the Bible.

Also LDS are critisized for claiming that their founder Joseph Smith is a modern day prophet. They claim by such that Mormons revear or creature worship him instead of the Lord. Likewise, JW's are critisized for constanting teaching that their "organization" is "The Channel to Jehovah."
