I enjoy reading and listening to music. Sports I take some interest in are Soccer, Athletics (I was a very good runner when younger) and Tennis. My other interests are listening to music, using the Internet. I like ten-pin bowling and walking. Other activities which take up my time are maintaining my website and PC. I am also interested in the weather.
One of my favourite ever TV programmes, which I watched as a boy in the 1980's, and still have the same enjoyment and enthusiasm for, is the "Rock and Roll Years". I can't understand why the BBC doesn't repeat it nowadays, unless it is something to do with the copyright laws in music. In March and April 1994, they showed the Rock and Roll Years between 1981 and 1989. They have never made a "Rock n Roll Years" for the nineties or noughties. The "I love" programmes, shown in 2000 and 2001 weren't anywhere near as informative, though they were interesting in their own way. In the "Rock and Roll Years", I heard great songs I had never heard before, or hadn't heard in years. Interviews were conducted with those who were involved in the news events which shaped history, or with ordinary people who were affected by them.
I like some TV programmes such as Wildlife documentaries. I watch some documentaries and sitcoms. Regarding those, my favourite TV Sitcoms of all time are One Foot in the Grave, the Young Ones, Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers.
With regards to reading and humour, I find the magazine Viz hilarious. I have 30 annuals of it, dating back from the mid-1980's, to the present day. I read factual more than fiction. I like to read Biographies and Autobiographies, real life crime, history, psychology books, music books and Science books.
