My full name is Kevin John Phillips, hence the title of my website - KJP's Asperger's Syndrome Site.
I am 182cm tall in my bare feet. I am medium to well-built, have deep-set, deep blue coloured eyes, along with medium-tone brown hair.
Nearly all of us have some control over our existence whilst alive, but none of us have any control over what brings us into the world, whether it is planned or accidental, or when we come into it. My life began on Friday 20th August 1976 at 10.05am, after a ten and a half hour Labour that commenced at 11.30pm the previous night. I was born on Ward 10 in my local hospital, seven days late, weighing in at seven pounds five ounces.
My birth came towards the end of one of the sunniest, driest and hottest summers of the 20th Century – an important fact for someone who kept weather records in his side garden for seven years.
I have no idea who I was named after. Obviously, my parents liked the name, which I was called after I was born, as they hadn't decided what to call me beforehand. It is not a family name, unlike my middle name, which has been passed down generations on my father's side of the family.
