my friends

michele afton, aka "mag" michele is my best friend for ever and ever. we've been friends since 5th grade, and have been through everything together. shele just got married to jon in may, and they now live in minitare, nebraska. michele is currently in school to become a registered nurse. jon works for his dad's construction company (he is very skilled at his work!). jon also has just started his own paintball business.

aubri, aka "jane" aub is my little sister and my best friend! we take care of each other. i am the big sister sam (her brother) never can be!!! :) aubri lives in kaysville, utah and is currently attending beauty school at Fran Brown Academy in layton, utah, to become a cosmetologist.

nathan allen, aka "ghee" nate and i danced together in high school, and he recently returned home from a mission in south carolina. nathan is my closest guy friend (other than my husband james, of course) and can always make you feel loved and feel good about yourself. he is (or was before his mission, anyway!) a big flirt, and loves dance, girls, and his family (which consists mostly of lots and lots of girls!). nathan is currenly attending Utah State University in logan, utah, and working at Western Watts (my uncle ron's company).

lizz marie, aka "lizzard," aka "angel" lizz was also on dance company with me. she and her husband nick currently live in salt lake city, utah. lizz and nick both work for marriott hotels. lizz is a crazy, fun-loving, adventurous friend who i can totally be myself around. lizz loves mashed potatoes, dancing, michael jackson, and "moulin rouge."

carrie anne, aka "carr" another dancer, carrie and her husband brett now live in sandy, utah. carrie is working as a full-time receptionist and brett is in school. carrie loves shopping, "dirty dancing," her friends, and breadsticks!

mandy lynn, aka "princess" mandy also danced with us in high school. she now attends school at Dixie College in st. george, utah. mand is a cute blondie who loves to have fun and laugh, shop, meet guys, and hang out with her friends! :) some of our favorite memories are: talking about "looney tunes" (with lizz), eating chocolate-chip cookie dough, the alien baby, and going tanning! mandy just got married, july 19, to a boy named justin! congrats, mand!

john joseph, aka "jj," aka "jg," aka "teddy" jj is another great guy friend. he recently returned from a mission in phoenix, arizona, and is now back in layton, utah. jj loves music, laughing, lizards (hah!)/drinking sobes, playing "family games," and telling stories!

darci lynn, aka "darce" darci was a roommate my freshman year of college, from billings, montana. she is now married and she and ryan live in provo, utah. darce loves camping, four-wheeling, sleeping, singing, and being crazy with "her girls" (me and kathy). darci works in the continuing education office on campus and also takes classes at BYU. ryan has recently begun his own drywalling business, and has more clients than he time for!

kathy marie, aka "kathycap" kathy is another old roommate, from chicago, illinois. kathy, darci, and i were inseparable our freshman year. people called us "the triplets," "neopolitan" (for our hair colors--darci with red (strawberry), me with blonde (vanilla), and kathy with brown (chocolate).), etc. kathy is studying history at BYU and will graduate in April 2004. she recently came back from a semester abroad program in bolivia (for the Church's perpetual education fund).
