Dictyoclostus

Mississippian to Permian period. This large shell has a wide hinge,strong beak, prominent ribs, and some conecntric growth lines with a few spines. This is the older name for it, now it is called Reticularia. It lay in the soft sediment of the sea floor. Inside of valves covered with small, rodlike bumps.
