April 15, 2002 - The Prom Notes

Well since May is soon approaching everyone knows that Prom is also coming. Well a certain school had a different schedule which allowed them to have a long lunch period. Therefore they decided to ask unsuspecting me to prom, except there wasn't just one invitation, there were 8!! I had just gotten home from school (a quite boring day might I add) and i was walking into my garage when i noticed many orange and yellow/green notes hanging from the door. I figured it was my little brother and mom who had left these notes for me or for some reason so i proceeded to read them. I then quickly saw they were all addressed to me, each creatively. As i read I realized that each was from a different person asking the same basic question: Will you go to Prom with me?? I laughed so hard as I was shocked by the many requests and noticed that my boyfriend had "asked" my sister! LOL

I have not made my decision although all of these young men have asked me if i have yet. I have so many tempting offers, 9 to be exact! Anyways I will take into consideration the first-come first-serve basis that has been stated however I find it hard to know which one was first since a couple of you claim that honor. I will let you all know my answer soon of who will be the lucky guy!

By the way, who is Jim?? His mystery intrigues me and that gives him definite points!!

The first set of notes, since I couldn't scan them in all at once are from Kevin, the mysterious Jim, Matt, and Pat. I loved Kevin's blunt style of asking. It gets right to the point which was nice, I suppose, therefore he will receive points for that tactic. In addition, I believe Matt should get points for the comparison to the baboon. interesting choice of a primate but whatever it was creative!

This is the second set of notes written by none other than Pat, Jeff, Dave, and Chris. I loved the French! i understood the note since I took that language for 3 years. It was a nice twist that does give Chris points in that field. Pat also gets points since he chose a classic, from Shakespeare, in his note. What the hell you guys all get points for the effort and creativity!!!!
