Broward Court To Whom It May Concern:
Sila Nicholson has been a Patient in this office for over a year, and in that time I have had an opportunity to observe and speak with her daugther, Adjani. Recently, Adjani has been extremely upset over her parents separation. Apparently, her father has been calling the Police to meet him during his visitation although it has been indicated by Ms. Nicholson and her Mother that Adjani had been waiting outside for him. This unnecessary Police intervention has "frightened" Adjani considerably making her more confused and upset.
Mrs. Nicholson has no support system in this area. I have spoken with her mother, an out-of-state resident, who is willing to provide a place for Mrs. Nicholson and Adjani in her home. Mrs. Nicholson has been further stressed by the ongoing litigation concerning her divorce and by an extreme financial crisis. It is recommendaded that Sila be given some time for both physical and emotional recuperation before resuming litigation. Sila is very loving with her daughter. And given Mrs. Nicholson's disabilities and Adjani's needs for a Nurturing atmosphere, it is recommended that Mrs. Nicholson and her child move to her mother's home until she is able to support herself and her child.
If further information is needed, please feel free to contact this office.
Sincerely,
Ingrid Partenio, Ph.D.
