Idun is the keeper of the magic apples of immortality,
which the gods must eat to preserve their youth.
One day, Idun and her magic apples were stolen by the giant Thiassi,
and taken to the land of the giants.
The gods quickly began to grow old
so they forced Loki to go rescue Idun and her apples.
Loki rescued her by turning himself into a falcon, and Idun into a nut.
Then he swooped down and picked her up and flew off with her in his claws.
