It could come from glandular infection, through a grit in the skin, a general disturbance, or from vitamin deficiency. It forms on various parts of the body, such as a female's ovaries, kidneys, underside of tongue, etc....
Inter-digital Cyst:
The Cyst that is most common in dogs is the Inter-digital Cyst, which appears in the foot (paw). To treat this kind of Cyst:
-Put on hot fomentations to burst and clean the Cyst.
-Wash with diluted T.C.P.
-Bandage the Cyst and put on it a soft boot.
Putting Iodine on the Cyst is believed to reduce it, also. If the Cyst is caught early, it can be incised. Even when it is removed, it could appear again.
