HALOWEEN THE SECOND MOST CELEBRATED HOLIDAY IN THE WORLD!!

IF YOU CELEBRATE THIS HOLIDAY YOU HAVE PROBABLY HEARD THIS QUESTION, HOW CAN HALLOWEEN BE SUCH A BAD THING WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE ARE CELEBRATING IT?

THE OLD TRADITION

Halloween, or as they used to call it, Samhain dates back to about 800 b.c., it was the evening of all souls day. Samhain is an ancient tradition or custom once practiced by the celts and the druids. The word Samhain means "summers end". The celtic people were said to use a lunar calendar, that consisted of only 2 seasons, the light summer months, and the dark winter months, samhain marked the end of the dark winter months and the beginning of the celtic new year.

It was believed during the festival samhain that the door seperating the spirit world and the human world would open and the dead from the past year would roam the earth and do whatever they please. Some of them would return to their homes and visit their families, while others would reak havoc and tourment the living. So the living began to dress up as if they them selves were demons or spirits in order to trick them, this way the humans would not face demonic persecution. Huge bonfires were lit also to help scare off the dead souls.

Since only on this night, it was said that the door to the spirit world opened, many other strange things would occurr, some of the druids would dress themselves in demonic attire thinking that they could crossover to the spirit world and become immortal, some even believed that the future was foretold, and certain signs appeared explaining things to come. The druids agreed that both apples and hazelnuts were products of sacred trees and the special marks on them, from nature, would tell the future. For example, apples with specific markings were placed in a tub of water and by seizing an apple using only the mouth, a young man or woman was supposed to be able to identify his or her future spouse.

As for the other spirits that went to their homes, their families would usually put food or candy out for them. Sometimes the candy was used to calm the spirits, because some of the dead were upset about things that had happened to them when they were alive and many of them came back to seek revenge.

Samhain was also characterized by drunken revelry and casting aside traditional values. There was an old saying among the druids for this day only "WHAT IS FORBIDDEN IS ALLOWED AND WHAT IS ALLOWED IS FORBIDDEN".

THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION

The Encyclopedia of Religion describes Halloween nowadays as "a time when adults can also cross cultural boundaries and abandon their identities by indulging in a forbidden evening of abominational activities. Thus, the basic Celtic quality of the festival, as an evening of annual escape from normal realities and expectations and has remained into the twentieth century."

Halloween, October 31, the eve of All Saints Day, observed with traditional games and customs. The word comes from medievil England's All Hallows' Eve. However, many of these customs predate cristianity, going back instead to celtic practices associated with November 1-the beginning of winter and the Celtic New Year. Witches and other evil spirits were believed to roam the earth on this evening, playing tricks on human beings to mark the season of diminishing sunlight. Bonfires were lit, offerings were made of dainty foods and sweets, and people would disguise themselves as one of the roaming spirits, to avoid demonic persecution. Survivals of these early practices can be found in countries of Celtic influence today, such as the UNITED STATES! where children go from door to door in scary costumes demanding "trick or treat."

ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA

Halloween: also called All Hallows' Eve or All Hallows' Evening, a holy or hallowed evening observed on October 31, the eve of All Saints Day. In modern times,it is the occasion for pranks and for children requesting treats or threatening tricks. In ancient Britain and Ireland, the celtic festival of Samhain eve was observed on October 31, at the end of summer. This date was also the eve of the New Year in both Celtic and Anglo-saxon times and was the occasion for one of the ancient fire festivals when huge bon fires were set on hilltops to frighten away evil spirits. The date was connected with the return of herds from pasture, and laws and land tenures were renewed. The souls of the dead were supposed to revisit their homes on this day, and the autumn festival aquired SINister significance, with ghosts, whitches, hobgoblins, black cats, fairies, and demons of all kinds said to be roaming about. It was the time to placate the supernatural powers controlling the processes of nature. In addition halloween was thought to be the most favorable time for divinations concerning marriage, luck, health, and death. It was the only day on which THE HELP OF THE DEVIL WAS INVOKED for such purposes.

ENCARTA ENCYCLOPEDIA

ORIGINS,HALLOWEEN: many of the ancient peoples of Europe marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, by celebrating a holiday in late autumn. The most important of these holidays to influence later halloween customs was samhain, a holiday observed by the ancient Celts, a tribal people who inhabited most of Western and Central Europe in the first millenium bc. Among the Celts, Samhain marked the end of one year and the beginning of the next. It was one of four Celtic holidays linked to important transitions in the annual cycle of seasons.
Samhain began at sundown on October 31 and extended into the following day. According to the Celtic pagan religion, known as Druidism, the spirits of those who had died in the preceding year roamed the earth on Samhain evening. The Celts sought to ward off these spirits with offerings of food and drink. The Celts also built bon fires at sacred hilltop sites and performed rituals, often involving animal or HUMAN SACRAFICES to honor druid dieties.

Halloween and it's formerly attendant ceremonies long antedate or predate christianity. The two cheif characteristics of ancient Halloween were the lighting of bon fires and the belief that of all nights of the year this was the one during which ghosts and witches are most likely to wonder abroad. Now on or about the 1st of November the druids held their great autumn festival and lit fires in honor of the sun god for bringing their harvest. Furthermore it was a druidic belief that on the eve of this festival Samhain(Samhain considered to be the lord of death), Samhain called together the wicked souls that within the past 12 months had been condemned to inhabit the bodies of animals. The existance of the festival Samhain is further proved by the fact that in parts of Ireland the 31st of October was, and even still is, known as "Oidhche Shamhna", "Vigil of Samhain".

UNKNOWN ENCYCLOPEDIA

Halloween: The building of bon fires, cracking of nuts, bobbing for apples floating in tubs of water, and telling of fortunes and ghost stories, which are now halloween customs, are all relics of paganism. About thirteen centuries ago, pagans celebrated November 1st as All Spirits Day, when spirits, both good and evil, were believed to be on earth. The druids also celebrated their harvest festival about that time, and many strange ceremonies were performed. Even after the pagans adopted christianity, they still observed many of their old customs, including those which have suvived as the Halloween diversions of today.

THE CONTRADICTION OF WHAT IS RIGHT

Now you have seen where we get all of our traditions for Halloween, and if you care about the truth you are probably very suprized right now. As you have read, all of the sources that were used are out of the books that people use every day and these are the same books our history is in. I guarantee that if you have an encyclopedia at home or around you right now and you look up halloween you will see the very same things you saw here.

In the bible the Father makes it very clear that all man made traditions are vain, and if you look up information on these holidays you wiil find that most of them derive or originate from the worship of other gods, in other words, it's paganism! If you are not familiar with the term paganism you will be now, in fact ALL of the days of the week and the months of the year are named after pagan gods and godesses and when we say the names of these days we are actually calling on these other gods, and what does the bible say about this? Well that is easy, it is the first of the ten commandments. Thou shalt worship no gods before me. This commandment could also be called a statute or a judgement because the Father will use these commandments to judge the world.

Here is a scripture from Ezekial that describes how YAHWEH gave his commandments and his statutes, and what happened to the people who disobeyed his simple words, ch 20 vs 11-13, 11 And I gave them my statutes and showed them my judgements, which if a man does, he will live by them. 12 Moreover I also gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am YAHWEH who sanctifies them. 13 But the house of Israyl rebelled against me in the wilderness: they did not walk in my statutes, and they despised my judgements, which if a man does, he will live by them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted. Then I thought: I will pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them. vs 16 For they despised my judgements, did not walk in my statutes, and polluted my sabbaths; because their hearts went after other gods.

These same actions are being performed even to this day but not enough people are reading the bible(The Instruction Manual of LIfe) to realize that 95% of ALL people are disobeying direct commandments from our creator and in the bible the Father gives us examples of why we do and don't do certain things, and what happens to us after we obey or disobey YAHWEH's commandments, statutes, or judgements.

DEUTERONOMY CH 7 vs 1-4YAHWEH explains how when he gave the children of Israyl the land to possess, he told them to utterly destroy the wicked peoples in front of them so that the men, women, daughters, and sons of the wicked ones would not corrupt the children of YAHWEH and cause them to seek or worship other gods. DEUTERONOMY Ch 7 vs 9-11, 9 Know therefore that YAHWEH is your Father. He is mighty. He is the faithful Father who keeps his covenant and mercy for a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his laws: 10 But repays those who hate him to his face- by destroying them! He will not be slack to him who hates him; He will repay him to his face. 11 Therefore, you must keep the laws, the statutes, and the judgements which I commanded you this day, by observing them and doing them.

We, being the creators creations, must live by the words and rules of our creator, now doesn't this make sense? Here is an example MATTHEW Ch 4 vs 4, 4 Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of YAHWEH. This simply says you cannot live without YAHWEH's inspired word, the spirit and the flesh must be fed in order to live. Bread and food feed the body or the flesh and YAHWEH's commandments, laws, statutes, and judgements, feed the hungered spirit.
MATTHEW Ch 15 vs 7-9, 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isiah prophesy of you, saying: 8 These people draw near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.MARK Ch 7 vs 6-9, 8 For laying aside the law of YAHWEH, you hold the tradition of men! 9 Then he said to them: How well you reject the law of YAHWEH, So that you may keep your own tradition! 13 Making the laws of YAHWEH of no effect, through your tradition you have handed down.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Many parents take their children door to door without thinking twice about what they have taught their children and what their parents taught them,#1 don't recieve candy from strangers and most importantly #2 don't talk to strangers! These 2 things are taught to most children, but on this night they are forgotten or ignored. We also teach our children not to let anybody force them to do something they don't want to do and we contradict ourselves by forcing or initiating them into the halloween tradition. Think about how scared your child was the first time he/she went trick or treating, and as the years pass they learn to like it, Kind of scary when you really think about it. Another contradiction, though it may be small to some people, is the nightmarish experience that we put our children through. For example, we tell them to go to bed when we watch scary movies, so they won't be frightened or have nightmares, but on oct 31st, we throw all that is taught, to the side and let the nightmares become a reality. This will eventually mix up your childrens thoughts and they won't know what is real or what is fake and by us INITIATING them into this wicked imagination, when they get older they will follow the crowd and forget about what is really important.

THE DARK AND SIMPLE CONCLUSION

The tradition of halloween has much more of a meaning to it than most people think.
I am sure if you knew and beleived the true history of this holiday you would know i'm not speaking of a good meaning in any kind of way. Absolutely nothing that originates from something so wicked could possibly be good for anybody. The evil of this holiday has been covered up and the truth has been hidden from the people of the world! I pray that this information will open the eyes of many and that those many will raise their children under the rules of the MOST HIGH and glorify the holy kingdom which will last forever!
