(Ortega has fallen off the roof and Zorro has retrieved the money and throws it to the soldiers below. This allows him to escape, since the soldiers are all clammoring for their share.

(Before leaving, Rosarita has told Diego that he should model himself after Zorro. Diego waves goodbye as she leaves Los Angeles)

(After Rosarita leaves, Diego walks over to Bernardo and says: "Zorro seems to have stolen my childhood sweetheart.")
