(Diego has set a trap for the bandidos, telling Seņor Verdugo that the money will be coming a different way. Zorro will ride out to meet the bandidos.)

(Sergeant Garcia and Corporel Reyes have been captured by the bandidos who have been robbing the couriers bringing the money for the supply ships. Corporel Reyes was shot in his attempt to defend himself and the Sergeant.)

(Zorro has come to save Sgt. Garcia, Cpl. Reyes, and the money from the banditos. Zorro is trying to get Sgt. Garcia to distract the bandito.)
