THE NEW ORDER
One of my all time favorite episodes, that to me speaks volumes to the interplay between our ensemble cast, is The New Order...the first of the Joaquin Castenada episodes. I adore the scenes in the plaza between Garcia, Diego and Reyes, with Bernardo standing by in the wings. Diego says "Sergeant, what is happening in Monterey?" And Reyes keeps saying "Let's go back to Los Angeles". VERY FUNNY scenes!! I bet there was some real impromptu goings on there during the filming. I would have loved to be watching their work from the sidelines. Submitted by Sue P. |
I just HAVE to say that one of my favorite characters on Zorro, in that odd sort of way, is one no one mentions much. I think Capitan Briones is a RIOT!! He cracks me up everytime I see him and watch him in action. He has some excellent lines in these episodes. Like: "And when we have unfortunate accidents in our jail, they can be MOST unfortunate!" Just the way he delivers this line is hysterical to me. His facial expressions combined with his stilted delivery and emphasis and inflections of voice are enough, but add that silly hair-do................. well............get the picture?
