(Basillio has arrived at the de la Vega hacienda with suspicions of Bernardo being in league with Zorro. Zorro returns just in time to stop Basillio.)

(Zorro has entered the secret room where Seņor Basillio is waiting to catch him. Basillio hits him over the head and removes the mask to find Diego.)

(Diego/Zorro tries to get to the ring that closes the door to the secret passage.)
