I love it when Diego smacks Avila in the tavern and knocks him across the room. I also really like the exchange between them about the scars, Avila: “You do not wear any scars. Therefore I must assume that you are expert with the sword.” Diego: “Well, Senor, you may also assume that I do not wear any scars because I do not fight.” Submitted by Ginger Diego comes out into the courtyard and stands by Garcia to watch Avila and his opponent. Inside the tavern when he comes over to the card table and he is asked if he wants to join them and he says, “Right now Sergeant Garcia is going to play host. Really. When Diego backhands Avila for roughing up his father. When Garcia and Reyes tried to show Diego how to fence and he drops the hanky and then when he points to it in reference to Garcia’s question “Did you give the signal?” and when Diego laughs/smiles and shakes his head when they leave. The look he gives his father just before they throw out Avila’s second….the smile, the eyes and then that evil grin and then ACTION. Zorro in the courtyard….all scenes but my favorite is when he deftly sweeps up his cape and jumps onto the carriage and onto the wall. So many scenes….not enough words to describe them all.
