(Diego and Bernardo are perplexed at the Sergeant's behavior. They do not understand why he keeps going in and out of the office and and acting very strangely.)

(Diego is retrieving the darts after nearly hitting Sgt. Garcia with one as the Sergeant entered the office.)

(The fortune teller has convinced the Sgt. that someone is out to get him. He sees Bernardo following him and locks Bernardo outside of the cuartel. Diego gets angry when he asks the Sergeant where Bernardo is.)
