I am indeed the drummer for M.O.S.F.E.T. and I can honestly say, although I may have played in more musically adept bands (myself excluded of course), I have never enjoyed music as much as I have with this group of people. Having started playing early in 2004, starting in a group filled with other, already well established and decent musicians was a bit daunting, but everyone overlooked any intial inadequecies and nerves, and just let the music flow :)Often hard, occassionally painful, but always, always the best of fun, I can't imagine better company to meet and just jam with, and the fantastic response we had to two of our gigs (huge thanks to all who supported) is just the icing on the cake of a great bunch of memories. Here's hoping for more.
I play a starter Stagg kit :( but have ungraded my Cymbals to and 20" Sabian Pro Sonix Ride, a 16" Sabian Pro Sonix Crash, 14" Sabian Pro Sonix Hats, a 14" Sabian AA Medium Thin Crash and a 10" Paiste Alpha Splash. Also, I have recently aquired a new snare, possibly the nicest drum in the world, a Yamaha Black Maple Custom Absolute 14" x 6" snare. To cap things off I have a rather nice DW 7000 Double Bass Pedal, and I play with Dave Weckl signiture sticks in honour of the great man, who is the best drummer I have heard out there today, if they help me play to even a tiny fraction of his abilty I will be happy! -6892 Days till my birthday! ||| Home |||
