The Stecker Experience
Julie, Julie, Julie. Where do I begin? I've known Julie since first grade. That's a long time. But, we hated each other that first year. But in second grade we got close. All through elementary school we were in the same classes and we were best friends. Then in sixth grade, we weren't as close because we each found new friends. But then I moved to Perry Hall (meep...:o\ she hated me for that). We still talked on the phone that first year I moved and she helped me get through the stress of starting a new school where I knew absolutely no one. Then we drifted apart again.
But now, Julie and I are closer than we ever were. We're both so much more mature and can talk to each other about anything and everything. Some of our problems recently have even been so similar it's scary. But anyway, I just love the friendship she and I have now. It's so deep, intelligent, emotional, and spiritual. I talk to her about things I don't think other people would understand or would have an interest in talking about. It's awesome.
Julie, I'm glad we've gotten closer. You have no idea how much I value your opinions and friendship. Thank you for all the advice and support through the rough times. You'll always be one of my best friends and I love you like a sister forever.
