Love is Never Forever

The first time that I've heard about you,
You were the same to me.
Like every guy out there.

I didn't care if you lived or died,
I didn't care if you were
'Someone special' to some of my friends,
I didn't care if you were part of my life or not.

I still remember the time
When you told me to step on the freeway
To get ran over by the speeding cars.
It was the first time that you ever made me laugh.

I have never thought of you
As that 'special someone'
I've never liked you,
It was more or less hate.

But now I see things differently,
Because dreams can tell many things.
And make us realize things we never thought was possible,
You now had a special place in my heart.

Now that things changed between us,
I'd very much want it to work out,
But it seem like the direction
That we're heading is anything but good.

But to me things are falling apart,
And we're also falling apart.
But maybe to you,
You wouldn't really mind.
We never got close,
But I don't blame anyone but myself.

I was the one that liked you,
Maybe it was never true the other way around,
But I don't care,
I still like you a lot.

You tore me up,
You shattered me inside,
You made me cry over you more than twice.
No one has ever hurt me this much like you have.

Maybe it would've been better
If we were never together,
But now I can't let go,
Not now, not yet.
But sooner or later,
I know that we're going to fall apart.

I'll give you the chance until we meet one day,
To see if this can all work out,
But I don't know if you'd do the same,
Or will dispute drive us apart?
