Bruce was the engineer on the Righeous Indignation before Willy was. When the Righeous's Photon accelerator was knocked out by the toads, Bruce tried to fix it, but when he turned it on, he was warped to the other end of the Aniverse. Bucky and his crew thought that he had "obtained oneness with the Aniverse", but he was partially brought back when the toads built a device to teleport their troops. Bruce disappeared again when that was destroyed. Who knows when Bucky's crew will ever see Bruce again.
