Gohan, Krillin, and Picollo go over to where Vegeta hid the rest of the dragonballs. The Ginyu force challenges them to fight. Guldo (2nd) is the first one to challenge them. Guldo is not very strong so he uses his Time Freeza and Body Bind attacks on Gohan and Krillin. Just when Guldo is about to finish off Gohan and Krillin with a sharpened tree, Vegeta kills Guldo with a ki blast. Once Guldo dies, Krillin and Gohan are free from his Body Bind attack.

The next battle is between Vegeta and Recoom (1st). Recoom is too strong for Vegeta to defeat. Gohan and Krillin save Vegeta from destruction and this makes Recoom angry. He defeats Krillin and now only Gohan is left to fight Recoom. Meanwhile, Captain Ginyu has taken all the 7 dragonballs and delivered them to Freeza. Fortunately, Freeza does not know the password to make his wish. Gohan and Recoom continue to fight. Gohan is not doing very well. Suddenly, Goku arrives on Namek at last. Goku gives the defeated krillin a senzu bean and restores his strength. Goku then reads Krillin's mind and learns of what has happend. Then Goku tosses a senzu bean at Vegeta as gratitude for saving Gohan's life. Vegeta eats it and restores his saiyan powers.

Goku easily takes care of Jeice and then Burter (4th) and Jeice (5th) launch an attack on Goku. Goku easily defeats Burter but Jeice escapes to seek the aid of Captain Ginyu (center). Ginyu and Goku begin to fight. Ginyu tells Goku to show his true power. Goku reveals his true strenght to Ginyu and Jeice. Meanwhile, Guru unleashes a healing power within Dende. Nail, the bodyguard of Guru, arrives at Guru's home. Freeza approaches and and him and Nail do battle. Freeza beats the crap out of Nail but Nail refuses to give Freeza the password for the dragonballs. Meanwhile, Ginyu sees that he is unmatched with Goku. He beats himself up and changes bodies with Goku. Goku is know weak in Ginyu's beat up body. Ginyu and Jeice fly off to where the dragonballs are buried.

Gohan and Krillin beat up Ginyu, who is now in Goku's body. Goku tells then that he cant reach maximum power so they take him on. Vegeta takes action and pummels captain Ginyu who is in Goku's body. Ginyu attempts to switch bodies with Vegeta but Goku flies in the beam and is now back in his body. Goku is now terribly injured and is lying on the ground. Ginyu attempts to take Vegeta's body once again but Goku throws a frog in the path of the bean and Ginyu is now inside a frog. The Ginyu force has been defeated.
