Episodes

So far, Pretty Sammy (Brought to us by Pionner, has spawned three OAV episodes and a TV series. Sammy made her first apperence in The Tenchi Muyou! series. Then she was one of the more major characters in the Mihoshi special of the Tenchi second OAV series. In that we learned that Roy-ohki could talk, and Sammy was a magical girl. Sammy has also made an appearence during the Tenchi TV series first season during the 'Time and Space' Adventures; during the El Hazard TV series (The Wanderers), twice even; and atleast once during the 'No Need For Tenchi' comic books.

In the second OAV, Sammy and her friends are out looking for software for their mom's new karoke machine, which turns out to be a computer. They are looking for 'pineapple OS', but along the way, they meet up with 'Biff Standard' and find out that he is taking over all of the comptuers in Japan.

I wish I could tell you something about the third series but I havn't seen any of it yet. I have seen it in suncoast video so I'm going to just have to go buy it!

Pretty Sammy is an adorable series with adorable characters. Any Sailor Moon or Tenchi fan may like this one.

Star Search Sasami has been selected as a magical girl who supports Queen of Juraihelm to make the world a happy place to live! In her old-fashioned costume with magical batton, Sasami fights against Love-Love monsters that her rival, Pixy Misa creates.

Love-Love Monsters No rest for Sasami!! Pixy Misa continues to cause trouble at the worst times! First Sasami and Misao are trying to have a fun sleep-over when a ghost attacks! Fortunately, a mysterious Santa appears to give Sasami new powers...Santa? In the summer? Whatever... Later Sasami and her father are taking a motorcycle tour and become stranded on a strange island while on her vacation! How rude! Finally, Sasami and her father are touring a Western theme town where Sasami gets to ride a horse. Unfortunately, when they wind up in the middle of a feud between the Western Town and a nearby Ninja Town, Pixy Misa shows up to create Gunman Girl! Have no fear, Sasami will become Pretty Sammy and make an amazing Ninjitsu comeback!!

Need Tenchi! Chicken Girl. Film Girl. Break-up Girl. Pixy Misa's Love-Love monsters are too wierd! First Sammy must save the city from being smothered in a rain of cheesecake - but how can she succeed without her baton? And who's this new magical girl that calls herself Funky Connie? Later, Sammy wants to help young Tenchi direct his first film, but then Pixy Misa decides to lend her usual quality of help. Poor guy! Finally, Ms. Kiyone's mom forces her into an arranged wedding, and the students of the school show up at the unhappy couple's first meeting to give Kiyone their support. Suddenly, Pixy Misa's Break-up Girl shows up with all of the potential groom's ex-girlfriends! Sammy's toughest assignment yet!

Love Soldiers Magical Escalation! From a giant bully to being turned into a baby, Sasami's troubles with Pixy Misa keep getting bigger! Now it is time for the real troubles to begin! Ramia has recruited frustrated women to back up Pixy Misa as Team Sexy Madam! Sammy doesn't have enough power to defeat five grown ups. Will these wicked Soldiers of Love give Sammy her first loss?

Just as Sasami thinks she's done, the third candidates for the Queen of Juraihelm, Romeo, suddenly appears and backs up Ramia! What's going to happen next?!

Final Bomber! Surprise Contestant! Romio, the 3rd Candidate for the Queen of Juraihelm, is taking her defeat even worse than Ramia, and launches a full-scale attack on the magical kingdom! Romio's NT system draws its strength from the Magical Powers of Juraihelm's inhabitants leaving everyone helpless, so who can stop her when she decides to make the Earth collide with the Sun? Pretty Sammy to the rescue! With Washu's toys and surprise help from Pixy Misa, they might have a chance, but it will take everyone's full efforts to save the day!

Vol 1 - Sasami Kawai is a 4th grader, a cheerful girl full of energy. One Day, she is sent on an errand to an old mansion and meets a strange lady there. The lady identifies herself as Tsunami and claims that she comes from a Magical Kingdom called Juraihelm. She asks Sasami to help make the Earth a better place by using the magical powers she can endow upon Sasami. Sasami's career as a Magical Girl thus begins. Her mysterious rival, another Magical Girl called Pixy Misa, as well as Ryoko and Ayeka who always fight against each other over Sasami's brother Tenchi, her mother who has her head completely in the clouds all the time... these wacky bunch of people only help the already wacky situations go worse, making Sammy's job even more difficult!

Vol 2 - Pretty Sammy is back! This time, a new enemy appears by the name of Biff Standard, president of STANDARD, a software company. By using his company's software, Biff wants to standardize the world. Ramia, Tsunami's rival for the next queen of Juraihelm, uses Biff to defeat Sammy!
