Wiseman/Death Phantom
He is a mysterious man who looks like death. He is
always sitting around a big orb. He is using the
Dark Moon Family for his own purposes. He tells them to go into the past to kill
Chibi-Usa and get the ginzuishou (Silver Crystal) so that they can take over Crystal Tokyo in the future. He actually wants to create the Zyakozushou (Black Crystal) and open the Black Gate to call forth the Death Phantom. He kills Esmeraude, and both the princes. Later, he tries to say that he is the Death Phantom. He also brainwashes Chibi-Usa into believing that no one loves her which turns her into Black Lady. Neo-Queen Serenity and Tuxedo Kamen break the spell and mother and daughter kill him by using the two Ginzuishou. One of which, Chibi-Usa possessed all along.
Prince Dimand (Diamond in N.A.)
He is the head of the Dark Moon Family. Unfortunately, he and his family are being used by the Wiseman. At the beginning he hates the earth and wants to destroy Crystal Tokyo and rule the planet. That's why he is willing to listen to Wiseman's suggestions. He is madly in love with Serenity. Wiseman predicted that Serenity will be his future love. Since that day Dimand has cared for nothing else. When the senshi pass through the time-corridor he watches Sailor Moon. He recognizes her and knows who she will be. Therefore he decides to capture her. Demando takes her in his and tries brainwash her, using a third eye in the middle of his forehead. At the last moment Tuxedo Kamen saves her. He and Black Lady try to create a big dark crystal in the middle of Tokyo. After the senshi have entered the Black Crystal, in order to find Black Lady, Demando gets hold of Sailor Moon again. He tries to brainwash her again, but this time Sailor Moon resists the hypnotic power of his third eye and she tells him the truth about Wiseman. He believes her and even protects her from Wiseman. He dies when he shields Usagi from one of Wiseman's attacks.
Saffire (Saphire
in N.A.)
He is Prince Dimand's younger brother. He is the one who created the figurines for Esmeraude. He cares deeply for his brother and
looks up to him greatly. He has always doubted
Wiseman and is the first to uncover Wiseman's evil
plans. He doesn't want to betray his brother
but he tries to take the crystal key card for the Zyakozushou (Black Crystal). Wiseman finds out and tries to kill him. Injured, he flees to Earth. There, Petz finds him and nurses his
injuries. He loves her, but his love for Dimand is
more and he insists that he must leave to tell Dimand what
is going on. Petz protests, but he replys that it is something he must do. He leaves her his jacket as a sign that he will return. On his way to warn Dimand, he
is confronted by Black Lady, the Senshi
arrive to help him and Dimand appears soon after. Before he could convince Dimand of Wiseman's plans, Wiseman blasts him. He dies in Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon's arms. With his last dying breath, he whispers a silent apology to Petz since he didn't fullfil his promise of coming back to her.
Rubeus
He uses the Ayakashi no yonshimai (Four Fake Sisters) and makes Cooan believe that he loves her (what a
turd). After he runs out of sisters to exploit, he captures
the Sailor Senshi and uses them as bait for Chibi-Usa
and Sailor Moon. He brings them to his UFO and soon
later captures Chibi-Usa and Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon
saves her friends and they are all able to escape the
UFO before it self-destructs. He doesn't have the
power to get himself off the ship and when Emerald
comes he tries to convince her to save him but she
tells him he is a failure and leaves him there to die.
The UFO then explodes and he dies.
Petz (Prisma in N.A.)
She is the oldest of the Ayakashi Sisters
(Except in N.A where she is the youngest). Her attack is Dark Thunder. She is the evil equivalent of Sailor Jupiter. Rubeus gives her a
strobe to amplify her powers and it possesses her and
she goes ballistic. She was the last sister to be
healed by Sailor Moon. She is in love with Saffire.
After he is injured and flees to Earth, she finds him and wraps his wounds. She tries to persuade him from leaving when she knows he is going to be
killed. He leaves her his jacket as a sign that he will return. When his jacket falls from the wall, she knows he has been killed, and says she will always remember his beautiful smile.
Calavaras (Avery in N.A.)
She is the second oldest of the Blackmoon sisters. She
is closest to Petz. She uses a whip called Dark Byuuto. She is the evil equivalent of Sailor Venus. She is the second to last sister to agree to be healed
by Sailor Moon. She follows Petz's lead, but when
Petz is possessed by the Wiseman's power strobe she
attacks her. Heart-broken, she sides with Sailor
Moon not understanding why her sister would betray
her. She helps convince Petz that she should be
healed and together they were. They became normal
human women.
Beruche (Birdie in N.A.)
She is the second youngest of the sisters (except
for in the dub where she is second oldest). Her attack is Dark Water. She also has another attack called Dark Water Full Power (only used in ep. 71 when she tried to kill herself). She is the evil equivalent
of Sailor Mercury. She entered a chess competition
so that she could find Sailor Mercury and they were
the last two contestants. She had control of the
situation but then Tuxedo Kamen showed up to save the
senshi. When she lost the upper hand Karabaras and
Petz turned their backs on her and told her she was
a failure and was better off dead. She lost her
will to live and began to freeze everything
surrounding herself and the senshi in an attempt to
kill herself and all of them. Cooan comes and tells
her sister that she is wrong and that she still cares
for her. She is then healed by Sailor Moon.
Cooan (Catsy in N.A.)
She is the youngest of the Ayakashi sisters. She
spends most of her time checking her make-up and
fixing her hair. She is very concerned about her
looks, because she wants to look attractive in front
of Rubeus. She is in love with Rubeus, but he brushes
her off. Her attack is Dark Fire. She is the
evil equivalent of Sailor Mars.
She was sent to the past to capture Chibi-Usa for
Rubeus. She fails after she is stopped by
Sailor Moon. Rubeus then comes and tells her that he
doesn't do stupid things like loving people and gives
her a bomb which she is to use to destroy everyone,
including herself. She doesn't use the bomb, but
having lost her will to live, she attacks the Scouts.
Sailor Mars pities Cooan and has Sailor Moon heal her
using the ginzuishou. Cooan then becomes a normal
human woman.
Esmeraude (Emerald in N.A.)
She takes over after Rubeus died. She is an
extremely vain and jealous person. She is
obsessed with Prince Dimand and winning his
affection. She is very jealous of the love that
Dimand has for Sailor Moon and Neo-Queen Serenity.
Her plan is to open the Black Gate so
that the Dark Crystal can destroy the Earth. She does this by placing crystal figurines which look exactly like her at points with negative energy. She has a Droid guard the figure and help it grow. But the senshi always destroy the Droid and the figurine. Therefore she is ordered back. She is madly in love with Prince Demando, but he is madly in love with Neo-Queen Serenity. After many failed attempts to kill Sailor Moon she finally seeks Wiseman's help to win Demando's heart. But Wiseman is only using her. He creates a tiara and predicts that if she takes it, she will be the Dark Moon's Queen. She is willing to give her soul for Demando and places the tiara on her head. But the tiara transforms her into a dragon which attacks the senshi. The senshi defeat the dragon
not knowing that it is her. She then dies,
calling Dimand's name as she is sucked into oblivion.
Black Lady (Wicked Lady in N.A.)
She is actually Chibi-Usa. Wiseman brainwashes
Chibi-Usa into believing that nobody loves her and
that she has no friends. Because of her hatred he was
able to make her become Black Lady. She wants to destroy the world because she feels that no
one on it loves her. She fought mercilessly, using
Luna P. Luna P turned evil too, after she came in
contact with Black Lady and recognized her as
Chibi-Usa. Sailor Moon uses the Ginzuishou to transform into Neo-Queen Serenity. Together, she and Tuxedo Kamen convince her that she is loved. She breaks the black moon symbol on her forehead and becomes Chibi-Usa again. Mother and daughter together use the Ginzuishou and the future Ginzuishou to defeat Wiseman.
