For You I Will
For You I Will
********************************************************************
When you're feelin' lost in the night
When you fell your world just ain't right
Call on me, I will be waiting
Count on me, I will be there
Amelia dragged slowly behind the group watching the
back of Zelgadis' head as they walked wondering what he was thinking.
Lina walked beside her, particularly friendly and happy
since she was
able to use her magick again. Zelgadis' birthday was in one week
and everyone had a gift for him....except her. She had searched all
over for the perfect present, but nothing seemed to
please her.
Through each town, Amelia felt horrible because nothing would
please Zel. He was so sad, so angry all the time. He only wanted
his cure and that's all she wanted for him. She loved
him so much
the way he was, but it was what he wanted and if it made him happy,
she just wished she could find it to make him happy.
Maybe then he would at least like me...Amelia thought rubbing
her hands up and down her arms.
Anytime the times get to tough
Anytime your best ain't enough
I'll be the one to make it better
I'll be there to protect you, see you through
I'll be there and there is nothing I won't do
"Ameila! Come on! Don't lag, the next down is just up ahead."
Lina called back. Zelgadis huffed.
'She always jumps about or hangs onto me. Now all she can do
is pout and moan. I'll never understand women.'
Amelia jogged up to the group and walked at the pace
comfortably. Zelgadis looked down on her suspiciously. She was
staring at the ground as they walked, ignoring the usual conversation
that she would normally jump in on.
"What's wrong, Amelia? Not in the mood for Justice?" uh,
oh. He hadn't meant it to come out that way.
'Great, now he's making fun of me.' Amelia thought sinking
lower.
Zelgadis just turned away, thinking now that she hated him
more.
I will cross the ocean for you
I will go and bring you the moon
I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need
I will be the sun in your sky
Amelia searched the whole town with nothing. One last shop.
Nothing. It had some nice necklaces and dresses, so she tried some
on and bought one. She decided on two necklaces, one
for Lina.
Lina and Gourry roamed the streets togather after checking
in for four rooms. Zelgadis decided on staying at the inns tavern in
the corner and drinking coffee. He looked up to see Amelia trudge in.
She didn't see him as she made her way to the stairs. Suddenly,
three guys sitting by a bar started hitting on her.
Zelgadis rolled his eyes, knowing that a justice speech
was coming and put his head in his hands and sighed. He was thoroughly
suprised when it didn't come. Instead, she just ignored them
and walked up the stairs to her room.
This was definatly not the way Amelia acted. Something was
very wrong. He would have to talk to Lina about this. She was a girl,
she would know.
Amelia sat on her bed and sighed.
"Well, well, fancy seeing you here, Ame-chan!"
Amelia jumped up and almost fell over, startled by
his voice. "Xellos!!! What do you want?"
"Oh, not much. Actually, I have a suggestion for you about
Zelgadis' birthday."
"Really?"
"I think you can cure him."
"WHAT?!!?!?!" Amelia's eyes glowered with stars in them.
"HOWHOWHOW!"
I will light your way for all time
I promise you ... for you I will
I will shield your heart from the rain
I will let no harm come your way
"Amelia, calm down. There is a mage. A Granting Mage
about a mile from here."
"A granting mage? Do you think he would do it?" Amelia
asked happily.
"Yes, but Amelia, he will demand something very important,
something very special in return. He will want you to sacrifice
something that makes you you. That is the only way."
Amelia looked away for a moment. She loved him. She
didn't care what it took, she was going to make him happy.
"I want you to tell me where it is, Xellos-sama. I will
do it." Amelia said, sitting up strait on her bed.
Xellos smiled and told her that it was on the edge of town
just near the woods in a small temple that was built for the mage
a long time ago. He lived there protected.
Amelia smiled and thanked him and ran out of the inn.
She left a note for Lina and the others.
Ms. Lina,
I will be back very soon. I cannot tell you where
I am going or why, but I have very good reasons. Justice implores
me that I must do it. For someone I love. I will return shortly,
probably after dark.. Please, do not look for me. I am safe.
Love,
Amelia Wil Telsa Sailune
Know these arms will be a shelter
Know these arms won't let you down
If there is a mountain to move ...
I will move that mountain for you
Amelia slipped out the door and Zelgadis still in the corner was
now more curious than ever. Sitting back in his chair he openly wondered
where she was going. He usually didn't think about her
this much, but he
couldn't keep his mind off of her lately. He kept telling himself
not to, he knew exactly where it could lead and that would be strait
to trouble and lonliness. Still he couldn't help
but worry about
what was concerning her lately.
Deciding to let her have her time to mope over whatever it was,
Zelgadis sat back and looked down at his coffee, again falling into deep
thoughts about his cure.
Amelia made her way up the hill through the dark forest.
After about ten minutes she spotted a castle of sorts. "This must
be it." she said quietly to herself and made her way to the door,
knocking three times.
A woman of 40+ answered the door and looked the young girl
over suspiciously before opening the door and ordering Amelia to follow
her. Hesitating a moment, Amelia cautiously followed the woman into
a foyer of sorts. There were books all along the walls and a few
pictures of the landscape around them, painted very beautifully.
"Ahem." the voice resounded through the giant room and Amelia
jumped, turning to see a man. He looked to be in his 30's or 40's and
was actually quite handsom. But from the stories she
had heard, the
wishmage was at least a thousand years old. And she had never
known he lived up here. He liked to keep his life a secret from most.
"Oh, hello." Amelia began, "Um....I uh, came here to see the
wishmage? I heard he lived here and I-"
"I know why your here child." his deep voice echoed through
the room even though it was a soft set of words he spoke. He seemed
to be looking into her very soul.
"You do?" Amelia asked hesitantly. 'This must be the mage'
she thought. 'But he looks so young...'
I'm here for you, I'm here forever
I will be your fortress, tall and strong
I'll keep you safe, I'll stand beside you ... all along
"Yes, and I will grant your wish my dear. I will give you
your love's cure." The mage smiled.
"You will?!"
"Yes......but there is a price. A very dear price, something
that will change you forever. Something that makes you who you are now.
And I warn you, taking it may very well destroy you."
he warned her.
"What is it."
The mage leaned in closer to her and whispered. "Your innocence."
Amelia went silent in horror. Her innocence? That was her
virtue. That's what made her pure, made her a keeper of the light
and justice was her innocence. To give it up would mean that she
was no longer clean, no longer good.
Amelia looked up at him and immediatly thought of Zelgadis.
"He wants his cure more than anything."
"And you want him happy more than anything." Amelia nodded
at his comment.
"It is up to you, my dear. You can always turn away and leave,
but this will probably be your only chance and his ever to have his
cure."
Amelia looked up again. 'His only chance.........ever....."
Amelia was crying inside as she broke her resolve.
I will cross the ocean for you
I will go and bring you the moon
I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need
I will be the sun in your sky
Her reply was a simple nod.
The mage smiled and took her by the shoulders. "Come
child, we must rid you of your innocence and get your love's cure."
Amelia followed the Mage into a small room with a small
bed and a vile on the nightstand.
"Lie down." he said.
Amelia did so, sitting on the bed as the man began to shed
his clothing.
Amelia felt the tears rolling down her face and closed her
eyes to push them away as she shed her tunic and tights after
loosing her cape. Soon she stood only in her panties. The mage
smiled.
"Do not fear, child. Keep your mind on your cause."
Amelia thought about Zelgadis and immediatly relaxed. She
closed her eyes and moments later, opened them to see the mage hanging
above her. He removed the last barriers between them
and instructed
her to lift her knees and spread her knees.
"Brace yourself child, I am afraid that this will hurt...
you can turn back now if you want to. You can still stop this."
Amelia thought, then shook her head.
I will light your way for all time
I promise you ... for you I will
For you I will, ... lay my life on the line
For you I will fight alone, for you I will die
The mage stroked her cheek. "Be calm now child. Take a
few deep breaths, relax your muscles, it will make it easier."
Amelia did as he instructed and tried to calm herself, but
immediatly tensed when she felt the head of his cock pressing against
her tiny virginal entrance. One tear ran down her cheek.
Amelia grabbed his shoulders and inhaled deeply. The
mage took this at his advantage and thrust upward a little, breaking
past the maidenhead. Her eyes widened and she couldn't hold
back.
Amelia's scream filled the halls of the old temple and
shattered the glass on the window. Her shortlived scream became a
heavy sob and sigh as she calmed.
"I am so sorry. I know it hurts and you need to brace yourself,
I still have a ways to go." the mage said quietly, feeling sorrow,
pity and admiration for this young girl.
Amelia grabbed his shoulders as he began to push more.
Her skin was being ripped and torn from the inside-out, burning,
no scorching her as he squeezed his way in. In seconds he was
buried to the hilt in her. Amelia moaned in agony and cried out,
sobbing and sighing. In moments the mage began to move himself
out causing more agony for her as he pushed himself in and out of
her tight passage for the next ten minutes.
The entire time, Amelia sobbed feeling her innocents and
purity being ripped out of her. Her tears flowed as she turned her
head to the side, staring off into nothing as her mind began to
register a now dull, numb throbbing instead of a harsh thrusing.
She laid there, her eyes distant.
The mage noticed her floating away and knew it was time.
With every breath, with all my soul
I give my word, I give it all
Put your faith in me,
and I'll help to set you free
"Child, look at me, child."
Amelia turned her head and stared through empty eyes at
him. He started to chant as his movements became faster and more
frantic. Closing his eyes, a blue aura began to surround them
as they moved heavily on the bed.
The aura grew and grew and within seconds gathered into
a ball above them. Amelia stared at it in pure terror, somehow
knowing that the pain was not over.
The ball flew down and pressed it's way down her throat as
she roughly inhaled it. Her throat started to burn until the sensation
spread to her entire body.
Soon every inch of her was in excruciating pain and she
began screaming.
After her voice was raw and she could scream no more, Amelia
lay there, shaking as he continued.
"It's almost over, child. It's almost over." the mage said,
trying to comfort her as best he could in this situation.
Amelia felt a paing in her stomach and it quickly tighened
and exploded, pushing her through her first climax. She knew it was
over then.
Amelia sobbed and turned back to the side. She felt a
warm liquid feeling up in her veins and flow upward toward her head.
Her tears began to glow blue and flow steadily onto the pillow.
These were the Tears of the Innocent. Only attainable through this method.
The mage grabbed the vile off the table and held it up to
her cheek along the path of her tears. The vile quickly filled
to the top just as the blue was fading from her tears. He placed
a cork on the top of the vile and placed it back on the table and
pulled back and out of her.
I will cross the ocean for you
I will go and bring you the moon
I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need
I will be the sun in your sky
Amelia lay there, sweaty and disgusted, crying her now clear
tears. She hated herself now, but knew that deep down, it was
worth it.
Carefully, she sat up, pain throbbing through her destroyed
body. She wiped her tears and put her legs over the side of the
bed, leaning her head down and starting to sob wildly into her hands.
The mage had already dressed and clapped his hands twice.
In moments four women, dressed in harem clothings swept in and
gently ushered Amelia, still naked out into the hall and down to
another room that was covered in silk dressings. In the center of
the room was a small three foot deep pond and small buckets. The
women gently lowered Amelia down standing in the
water and grabbed
up sponges, cloths and buckets.
For the next half hour, the women bathed her, washed her hair
and cleaned every area on her tattered body. Amelia just stared
disbelievingly strait ahead, out into space, not believing what
she had just done. She knew without a doubt that it was worth it,
but that was no comfort for what her future was now.
After a thourough cleaning, the women, still silent, led Amelia
to another room and dressed her in her clothes which had been washed
for her. Her amulets were taken, for they were a symbol of her
purity and smashed. She was given another amulet, one that carried
the granters symbol on itas well as her purity symbol, so that her deed
and sacrifice would not be gone unnoticed. It was
placed on a
necklace wire and strung about her neck under her top to hide it
from her friends.
I will light your way for all time
I promise you ... for you I will
Oh, yes I will for you
I will I will I will I will
Amelia was then led to the room she had first talked with the
mage in and left to wait. Moments later, the Mage arrived with a
small black velvet box. He walked up to Amelia and handed her the
box, to which she immediatly bowed back.
"Inside this box is contained Tears of the Innocent. I will
let you know the truth now. Your innocence is what is contained in the
vile and that was the only way known to attain them. This, my
dear, is your love's cure."
Amelia looked up at him with a look of pure horror. She
couldn't believe that it was actually a part of her that was going
to cure her beloved. She looked at the box, then back at the mage.
"What do I do?"
"Tomorrow night, while he is distracted, empty the vile into
his drink. No matter what it is, the contents will immediatly mix
with it and become unnoticeable."
"How long will it take."
"The effect will be immediate."
"Good."
"Oh, one more thing."
"Yes?"
"Make sure he drinks all of it. All or else it will not
work. He must consume the entire drink. Understand?"
Amelia nodded her head and smiled slightly considering her
current position.
I will cross the ocean for you
I will go and bring you the moon
I will be your hero, your strength, anything you need
Amelia bid the Mage fairwell and left the temple, making
her way back through the forest, carrying the box in her hands. It
had been a long two hours and she was sure they were looking for
her.
"Amelia."
Amelia spun on her heels, hearing the voice behind her.
"Xellos!"
"So, Ame-chan...did you see the granting mage?" he
asked, obviously knowing the answer.
"Yes." she said quietly.
"And did he ask you to trade?" Xellos became curious. He
was unable to watch earlier, a spell of concealment placed over the
temple prevented any knowlege.
"Yes." she almost whispered.
"Is that Zelgadis-san's cure?" he eyed the box.
"Leave me alone Xellos."
"What ever is wrong, Amelia?" Xellos then noticed her
wristbands missing and feared the worst. He phased in front of her
suddenly."Amelia, what did you trade?" his voice was low.
"Go away...." Amelia felt her tears beginning to form again.
"Amelia....tell me.."
Before she could respond, Xellos had snatched the amulet
out from her shirt and was staring at it with open eyes as he lifted
it still on her neck.
"Gods, Amelia! You didn't!!" he was genuinly concerned and
afraid of her answer.
"I said go away!!" She screamed and pushed quickly past
him, rushing back to the inn.
I will be the sun in your sky
I will light your way for all time
I promise you ... for you I will
Zelgadis had just entered the tavern to look for Lina and
Gourry and ask if they had seen Amelia, when she darted past him,
tears in her eyes and a velvet box in hands. He quickly ran after
her as she made her way up the stairs and into her room. Amelia
didn't bother to shut the door, just set the box down, then broke down
crying and fell onto the bed, sobs wracking her body.
Zelgadis made his way over to the bed and sat down, hesitantly
placing a palm on her back.
"Amelia, what's Wrong? Are you o-"
Zelgadis was cut off by Amelia swinging around to hug him
tightly, sobbing on his shoulder.
He got nervous at this. He wasn't good with emotional
people. Especially when they were his friends.
"Amelia...I- " he started.
She just sobbed, not caring who she was hugging as long
as there was someone to hug.
Finally, he gave up and wrapped his arms around her back
with a sigh telling her to just let it out.
After a few minutes, her crying had stopped and she was
still, just breathing against his
shoulder.
"Amelia?"
No answer.
Zelgadis carefully lifted her head to see that she was asleep.
With a sigh, he layed her down and left the room quietly, shutting
the door behind him.
Oh, oh yes I do,
I promise for you I will, I will
A week later the group gathered round a table at the inn they
were staying at and started to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Zelgadis. He
was turning 25 that day. Amelia snuck into the back where the
drinks were being served. She grabbed a cup and poured some of the
red juice into it, then pulled out the vile from her pocket and poured
it's contents into the drink. the blue magickally
absorbed and
Amelia smiled before heading back into the front room and handing
out the drinks, making sure that Zelgadis had the one with the potion
in it. She had only filled the cups half full,
planning to
say it was for a toast. It was a well known fact that toasts were
usually drank all the way down.
"I propose a toast," she said, smiling for the first time in
week. Standing up on a chair, she placed her hand on her hip and
lifted her glass into the air. "To Zelgadis. May the rest of your
years be filled with happiness and may all your wishes come true."
Amelia said before downing her drink.
It didn't get past Zelgadis that she had said wishes instead
of dreams. He drank half the drink before starting to put it down. He
wasn't particularly thirsty.
Amelia looked over and her eyes went wide when he didn't drink
it all. "NO!" she yelled before he could put it down.
Zelgadis stopped in his tracks as Amelia came barreling toward
him before stopping and grabbing his hand, pushing the cup back up
toward his lips.
"You- you have to drink it all, Zelgadis! Please!" She
pleaded, knowing how weird she looked.
"Amelia, I'm not-"
"That's the only way it works!" she stopped and knew how
that sounded."....um..I mean, you-you have to drink the whole drink
for the toast to come true! It-it's tradition. You wouldn't want to
undo my toast would you??" she put on her puppydog eyes.
Zelgadis looked at her. She was giving him the puppy eyes. Oh,
now he couldn't put the cup down. What the hell, it was just a drink.
Quickly downing the rest of the drink, he put the cup down and
glared at Amelia. "Happy now?"
Amelia watched closely, but nothing happened. She frowned.
"It's supposed to work immediatly." she mumbled.
"Amelia, what are you talking about? Your making no se-
"Zel's sentence was cut off as he froze and Amelia looked back up
with a smile on her face. Zelgadis felt a warmth flow through him
as a white light enveloped his body. Amelia's smile was so big
that if everyone wasn't concentrating on Zelgadis and the white light,
it would have been contagious. The light enclosed over his entire body
so that you couldn't see him.
Suddenly the light vanished and Zelgadis crouched down
to the ground. Slowly he stood back up and looked at Amelia shocked,
who had a giant smile on her face and looked like she was ready to
bounce in place.
"Zel..." he heard Lina say.
"Wow...." Gourry said on his other side, but his focus
stayed on Amelia, who's eyes seemed to shine with happiness.
"Your human." she whispered to him.
His eyes widened and he brought his hand up to his face and
felt the smooth peach skin, then ran his hands through his hair, feeling
the silkyness of his now brown hair. The entire time, he kept his
eyes on Amelia. She had done this for him. How could he ever repay
her.
Pulling her into a hug Zelgadis whispered his thanks for her
ears only before the others enveloped him with questions. Amelia
smiled. He was happy.
I will be your mountain,
your strength, oh yes
She was happy that he was happy. He had everything he
had ever wanted....to be human again. And, she decided, if she
had the chance, she would do it again. For him, she would. She
would do anything. She loved him dearly and nothing would ever
change that. Zelgadis was the one she wanted, and no matter if he
never cared for her, she couldn't and wouldn't want to stop.
He walked happily beside the others in front. He cheerfully
chatted about his future and how he could do so many more things now
that he was human. He was almost glowing with joy.
She wouldn't tell him. Seeing how happy he was, how
wonderful he looked and how he had changed so much made her decide
it right then and there and she knew she just couldn't. No,
it was her secret. But it was worth it. If he was happy, she
was happy, innocence or not.
Amelia ran her fingers over the amulet through her shirt.
Yes, it was worth it. But she could never let them know.
Promise you, For you I will
I promise you, for you I will
