This is a story written by Amber (Anya) Draper in the year of 2000 
on January 13th.  Sunday at almost 7:00 is when writing comensed.
	This story is taken from the Anime show Slayers, Slayers Next, 
Slayers Try and Slayers End.  Slayers End is my story.  It is the resolution
 to the entire Slayers series.  In my story a girl from the year 1999 in Oklahoma 
in this reality is sent by L-Sama whirling to fix the Slayer realm and ends up 
falling in love with one of the Slayers.  Zelgadis Greywards, an 18 yr. old Chimera
. (no, he's not human, but he's hot.)

	The four weary travelers entered the inn, exhausted from the long, 
tiring journey that Lina Inverse, the worlds greatest, not to mention youngest, 
sorceress in the known worlds had dragged them on just for an all you can eat
 for a shilling buffet.  Amelia was about to faint, Zelgadis was about to scream, 
yes, scream, Gourry was about to kill his horse for food and Lina was as happy
 as a Jay bird to be going this far for such a good price on a good meal, and 
entertainment was included...however, the others were not as thrilled.

	Sabrina Carthon had been thrown into the Slayers world, which didn't 
seem so great anymore, for over two months and hadn't seen a thing.  And 
working for thirty silver peices a show at the Savanna's All You Can Eat Buffet
 And Entertainment Lodge wasn't making it any better.  She had been hired to 
sing four nights a week for that much.  That was less than a peice a song.  No 
cute guys had come in and she was getting really restless because it had been
 her dream to see and meet the entire Slayers gang all her life.  Lina Inverse,
 Gourry Gabriev, Zelgadis Greywards, Amelia Wil Telsa Sailuine, Xellos....whatever 
his last name was (Metallium), and that Martina chic.  Whatever her last name was.
   Anyways, she had gotten to meet L-Sama, also known as the female god, which 
wasn't so bad considering God had turned out to be a woman!  Yes!  Cool.  Well,
 tonight, she hoped, was the last show so  that she could take her silver and be 
ON HER WAY!
Little did she know, her entire life was about to change. Well, I mean more than 
it has already, duh!


	"We're here!"  Lina Inverse startled the rest of her crew with her rude
 outburst.
	"Oh, it's about time..." Zelgadis huffed and followed the pigout group
 into the lodge. "Savanna's...what a name."
	"Ladies and gentlmen!" A loud voice boomed over the microphone on
 stage. "If you would all take a seat and give me your attention! It is time for
 our daily show!  We are lucky to have Sabrina and hope she stays with us 
to share her wonderful talent!  This voice, men, will have you melting in your
 seats like butter and the ladies will go green with envy!"
	Zel was about to leave, but hearing this decided to stay, after all it 
was a rarety to see Lina green with anything but anger.
	Drums rolled and soft music started up which turned into a song 
none of them had heard before. (This was due to the fact that Sabrina had
 introduced alot of "new" songs from her world to the entertainment lodge. 
 Chain of Fools played and a leg snuck out of the curtains on the side.  Sabrina 
sheepish inside now, danced provocatively and started to sing in a most 
beautiful, deep, sexy and VERY provocative voice.)
	>>For Five long years, I thought you were my man,

(As the chorus of the song came, three girls behind her with less-than-
attractive voices, joined in.  Zel's mouth was by now parted in awe and 
a slight grin could be seen.  Amelia immediatley noticed this and slapped
 it shut, recieving a look from Zel that was less than happy.)
	Every chain, has got a weak link!
	I might be weak, child, but I give a-you strength!

	my doctor said to take it easy,

	One of these mornings

(As the music went to a slow, applause filled the room and the girl took a bow.
  Zel couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked.)

	"Now, here is one for all those girls who are in love with someone who 
doesn't love them.  I should know, I've had that happen one too many times 
to me..." Sabrina grinned sheepishly and Amelia glared angirly over at Zel, 
then huffed, stood and walked over to another table, where she was 
quickly joined by the phazing Xellos.

	"Xellos!  What do you want?" She stared over at Zel, then back
 at Xellos and, much to his surprise, smiled propping her chin up on her 
arm. " I mean, how are you?"
	Zel knew this was one of her futile attepts to make him jealous.
 He looked back up at the stage and saw Sabrina was gone.  He quickly
 looked around and noticed, that not only was everyone staring at him 
with a smile, but there was a spotlight just above his head.  Suddenly a 
soft hand came down on his shoulder and breath from a mouth close to 
his cheek whispered in a sweet voice, "Quite a crush that one must have
 on you..."  Her voice was so soft and tender, Zel leaned back a bit, 
forgetting where and who he was, then
 suddenly jerked up.  A smooth small hand took his and pulled him gently
 up from the chair he was in.
	"I think I have myself a stage partner.  What do you think?" Sabrina
 giggled softly as she spoke to the crowd. Zel couldn't have gotten any 
redder than he was now...or so he thought.  He couldn't or wouldn't protest
 as she led him up the stage and gestured for him to sit in a chair, of 
which she abruptly sat on his lap when he did.  She wrapped her arm 
around him and looked at the tan cover on his head, smiling.  She pressed
 her lips to the microphone and began, in a hushed soothing voice that Zel 
loved, to sing.

	When you just give love.....
	And never get love...
	You'd better let love depart,
	(pause)
	I know that it's so,
	and yet I know.....
	(Sabrina turned a bit toward the audience, leaning back in 
his lap as she sang to them)
	I can't get you out of my heart.........oh!
	You, you made me leave my happy home,

	(With these words Sabrina stood and walked around behind 
Zel , Leaning in close to his face.)
	Since I fell for you.
	Oh, love......brings such myyyysery and pain. oh,
	I guess I'll never, Guess I'll never be the same,
	Since I fell for you,

	(Her voice got louder and she walked across the stage 
entertaining certain veiwers and Zel watched smiling as she bent over to sing to one little boy)
	Oh, well it's to bad,
	Oh, and it's to sad
	But I'm in love with you,
	oh you loved me,
	oh, then you snubbed me,
	oh, But what can I do, I'm still in love with you!
	(She sang the chorus a second time and came back to sit on 
Zel's lap, smiling up at his Chimeric face as she did.  Zel was shocked
 that she had responded by smiling instead of freaking out or screaming
 or jumping up or something.  Carefully, she leaned in under his hood 
and gently kissed his lips, then helped him up and back to his seat.

	After the show, everyone was leaving and Sabrina was putting 
up her stuff, when she noticed that Zel was one of the last ones out.
	"Wait!"  She yelled after him.  He immediatly turned around and
 waited for her to dart down the steps.  By then, everyone else in the tavern
 was gone and the cleaning crew were there.
	"I just wanted to....." She paused."Could you take off your hood....
please?'
	Zel sighed and lifted his hood.  She immediatley smiled. "Thanks.  
I wanted to say thanks.  I usually don't get so many subjective 'volunteers'.
"She giggled a bit.  To Zel's total amazement, she quickly reached up, having
 to pull his head down to hers (since she was considerably shorter) and 
pressed her lips to his in a long passionate kiss.  When she let go, Zel's
 eyes were larger than ever.  She laughed and waved, then trotted off behind
 the stage, leaving Zel in a state of total pause.

Lina had to come in and drag Zel out, still stunned.

Once Sabrina entered her dressing room, she backed against the door,
 sighing, then saying to herself."YES!" 
	She suddenly had a thought.  Knowing Lina and the others they
 would not be there long.
	"Oh, no! I have to hurry!!!!" she whispered and quickly got redressed
 into a blue tank top and white jean shorts.  She packed her things in a 
hurry and left a note of resignation saying that she couldn't say why, but
 she had another path to follow right now and they would find another 
singer, then quickly rushed out of the inn with a backpack on her back. 
 She rushed after the group now leaving the city.

	"WAIT! PLEASE WAIT!!!!" Sabrina's voice caught the attention 
of the group who were now just outside the city.  Lina turned and saw
 Sabrina not dressed up rushing towards them and they waited.
	Sabrina leaned over for  a moment catching her breath, the 
looked back up at Lina, brushing her hair from her eyes. "Wait. (huff)
 I-(pant) I want to ask...please let me come with you."
	"What?" Lina raised an eyebrow.
	"Yeah, I wanna travel the world with the greatest sorceress and 
her gang and blow up bandits and stuff and steal lots of money from 
them with you." Sabrina huffed.
	Lina smiled at the mention of money. "Oh, I like her."
	"I don't." Amelia mumbled under her breath.
	"What's the matter, Amelia? Jealous?" Zel said, almost 
laughing.
	"UH!" Amelia looked at him in shock.
	"Oh, "Sabrina gave him a look. "Don't tease her." she turned
 to Amelia. "I'll bet your the missunderstood and underestimated one,
 huh?"
	Amelia's eyes shot up. "Y-yeah. How'd you know?"
	"I can tell these things, dear. Here, let me see your palm." 
Sabrina said walking up to her.
