                              Whom You Really Are...

                           The Truth About Mystrivious 
 


         A raven looked out towards the morning light. It spotted and 
insect upon the ground. Quickly, it swooped down and attacked it. It 
picked it up and soared off into the clouds.

    Slowly Zel pushed it in. Amelia groaned. "Ah, that's good 
Zelgadis!" Zel pushed it in a little deeper. "AH! There it is! 
I can feel it!" Amelia squealed in delight. "I think it should slide 
out now." Zel said pushing it in just a little deeper. "What 
are you two doing? Zel? Amelia?!" Lina asked with her hands on her 
hips. "We're getting Amelia's bracelet. It fell down this drain 
here," he said sliding a needle in the drain a little deeper, towards 
Amelia's persistant fingers feeling around for it. Suddenly, 
something pink appeared in the drain.  

      Amelia gave it a quick tug and it wiggled free. "Ah! 
Much better!" she declared happilly. Lina shrugged and just left 
the room into her own bedroom. She plopped onto the bed and looked 
up at the ceiling. Suddenly, Xellos teleported hovering over 
her. "NAH!" Lina screamed as she fell onto the floor. She looked up at 
him and growled, "Xellos..." "Gomen. Were you sleeping?" 
"Iie... demo(but) still you shouldn't sneak into people's room 
like that!" "I didn't sneak in..." "Whatever..." She went over to 
her vanity and sat down on the stool. "So why are you here?" she 
asked him. He hovered down and sat on her bed.

       "I have a secret about Mystrivious..." he humed. She 
immediately turned on the stool and stared at him. "You do? 
Tell me!" "All right... At the town called Runtho Carro people 
have all been in a fret about a mischievious person in all black. 
I've gone there and I've seen him for myself. I'm going to go 
down there right now. Would you care to join me?" "You bet I would!" 
"Okay. I'm going to go ahead of you then. You know, just so we 
won't lose track of him." "Ushat." "Ja-na!"

      Lina told the others and they got ready as soon as they could, 
then headed for Runtho Carro. Runtho Carro was only another city 
away. They were all after Mystrivious for one reason. He was suspicious. 
Mysterious? Mischievious? Didn't mix. It seemed he had a bed plan in 
action and he was waiting to launch it. In Lina's opinion, she 
believed he only helped them out that one time because he wanted to 
gain their trust so he could backstab them. It was too fishy just to 
let him go unquestioned. They reached Runtho Carro within an hour. 

     "Let's split up and look for Xellos. If we find Xellos, we might 
find Mystrivious. Let's go!" Lina took off to the south side of 
the town, Zel to the west, Gourry to the east, and Amelia to the 
north. Amelia kept walking around asking people whether they 
had seen someone in all black or someone with purple hair and in 
black and yellow. Each time negetive. She was about to give up when 
she approached a lake that didn't look like it was part of town, 
however she tossed that idea away when she saw Xellos' staff by the 
shoreline of the lake. She ran over to it and observed it quickly. 
It had been broken in half. 'Whatever happened here... it wasn't 
good. It was pretty recent too.' Amelia thought as she felt that the 
staff was warm. 

        Suddenly she saw a huge bright light dispurse from the 
lake. She edge as close as she could to the edge of the water 
and peered in to see what it was, but the water stood still. She 
sighed, "I'm gonna just have to go in there..." She took off her 
cape then jumped in. She swam deep to about fifteen feet and she 
reached the bottom. When she ran out of breath she cast a ray 
wing and went into it. She looked around and nothing seemed 
suspicious. She turned around about to float up to the surface but 
she saw a sight she'd never forget. A small black orb floated over 
to her and entered the ray wing. It landed by Amelia's feet and the 
black substance faded and what was left over was a baby. A small 
nude little baby with... purple hair?

      Amelia stared at the gurggling babe, who was currently 
playing with its foot until it looked up at Amelia with happilly 
closed eyes. "X-Xellos-san?!" Amelia screeched. He cocked his 
little head in wonder. "What happened to you?" she asked as she 
kneeled down to him. He just looked at her with those adorably 
closed eyes and made a spit bubble. "Eiiuuu..." she muttered. 
Suddenly, she looked to her right she saw a huge fish that was 
coming strait towards them, with its mouth gaping open. Amelia 
shrieked, grabbed Xellos, and quickly swam up to shore. She 
emerged from the water with such force she practically flew into the 
sky. Accidently, she dropped Xellos and he started falling towards 
the ground. 

    Amelia quickly flipped herself around so she'd be able to catch 
him in the air before they hit the ground, however in the process of 
doing that she gave herself more volocity and she fell past Xellos, 
missing to catch him. When she landed on her head onto the ground, 
she flopped over to where her behind was sticking strait up 
into the air. She turned her head slightly and she saw Xellos land 
perfectly on her behind. He giggled happilly and kicked about. 
"You know what, Xellos?" she asked. "You're a pain in the butt..."

     She got up and recomposed herself. Afterwards she lifted him up 
and looked at him. "What happened to you?" she asked again. Instead 
of giggling, he had a face as if he had something wrong with him. 
The face diciplated back into happiness and laughter simutaniously 
to when Amelia felt warm legs, then wet. She looked down to see a 
stream of yellow liquid run down from Xellos onto her pants. She looked 
at him with a troubled look. "These pants are brand new..... I hate 
you," she growled. She quickly tore off the wet part of her pants 
and tied it onto Xellos' private place to serve as a diaper. He 
began crying as she tied it onto him. "No no no! Teach you not to 
pee on me! You had to pee on MY pants, so now you're paying. You 
had to pee on my pants, so now it won't be problem for you anymore!"

      Just at that moment Zel had walked around a building and 
he was in front of the same lake as Amelia. He saw her wraping a baby 
up. The baby had purple hair... purple hair like hers! He walked over 
to her. "Zelgadis! There you are!" she greeted Xellos into her arms. 
"Amelia... how could you?" he said sounding very strict, angry, 
upset, and cold. "How could I what?" "You were pregnant! And 
now you have a kid! Who's the father?!" he shouted. Amelia was 
taken back by his harsh tone and by what he was saying. "What 
in the world are you talking about?! This is Xellos!" Immediately 
his muscles loosened and his mouth dropped. "N-n-n-nan? That's... 
Xellos?" "Hai!" Immediatly he started laughing uncontrollably.

    Xellos' eyes opened and he glared at Zelgadis. Xellos pointed 
a finger at Zel then his clothes caught fire. "GAH! O_O" Zel screamed 
as he jumped into the lake. Seconds later he came out completly drenched. 
"Amelia, let me have... the child..." he said very monotoniously. 
She just hid Xellos behind her and Zel sighed dissappointed. 
"You get discouraged easilly. Watch," Amelia said taking Xellos 
in front of her. "Life is so wonderful. Nothing can be greater than 
life itself!" Immediatly Xellos' eyes opened again and tears flooded 
out as he began crying. "See?" "Hai... It's very effective." Amelia 
giggled and picked up Xellos' staff. "C'mon. Let's go find Lina and 
Gourry."

     They made their way through town and found them in a local inn. 
They went into their room and they where currently eating lunch. 
"So... Did you find him?" Lina asked between bites. "Hai, 
here he is now, in fact," Amelia replied. Lina turned and expected 
a full-grown Xellos instead all she saw was a little baby cradled 
in her arms, sleeping peacefully. Lina dropped her food and fork 
in total surprise. "Whoa! Amelia! You had a kid?" Gourry asked 
totally clueless. "Iie... this IS Xellos!" Lina burst into laughter 
after that was said. "What happened to him?" Lina asked after her 
hysterical outburst. "I don't know... but, whatever it was, it was 
hostile, see?" Amelia said, showing them the broken staff. 

     "I believe I may be able to fix that, and your friend," a voice 
said. Everyone turned in the room to see Mystrivious. "Wake him up," 
he said monotoniously. Slowly Amelia shook Baby Xellos carefully. He 
slowly lifted his eyelids and looked over and saw Mystrivious. He 
opened his eyes and he did not look joyful any longer. Mystrivious lifted 
one hand and Xellos glew a golden color, so bright you couldn't even 
see him any more. He began to scream and everyone heard his voice 
go from an infant to a full-grown adult. Finally, the light cleared 
and there in Amelia's arms, sat Xellos, fully matured again. Amelia's 
knees wobbled as they gave in and she fell down. "Ah, Amelia-chan!" he 
said blushing, getting off her. However, when he did, the diaper fell 
off and he was naked to everyones view. "GAH! XELLOS!!! PUT 
YOUR CLOTHES ON!!!" everyone screamed as they threw pillows at him. 
"Gomenusai!" he yelled, grabbing a pillow, then rushing into 
the bathroom. 

      Mystrivious walked over a snatched Xellos' broken staff 
from Amelia's hand. He pushed it back together and it glew vermillion 
(a light happy turquish-blue color) and then he removed his 
hands from it, and the staff was renewed. He turned and faced the 
astonished group. Xellos appeared from the bathroom with renewed 
clothing. "Mina-san(Everyone), I said the answers would come the 
next time we greeted, so that's why I have joined you today. Lina-san, 
I have seen your work before and I believe you may be trusted. I will 
let you know of whom I really am." Slowly he raised his arms and 
the room was illuminated once again with a golden light, much 
brighter this time however. As the light faded, his body came into 
appearance. It was the blonde girl whom defeated Dolphin!
