Willow flipped through the pages of the book in front of her. Not
actually reading, just going through the motions, hoping something
might
stick. Anything to keep her mind off this stupid holiday. Valentine's
Day sucks.

She finally gave up and closed the book; adding it to the pile of
unread
volumes on her nightstand. It was useless. She needed chocolate, in
large quantities.
As she opened the door, a man carrying a large bouquet of flowers and
carefully reading his clipboard approached. He stopped right in front
of
her.

"Willow Rosenberg"

"Yes"

"Great! This campus is like a maze. These are for you."

"Thanks" She took the flowers and went back into her room, thoroughly
confused. Who on earth would be sending her flowers!

Her heart skipped as she turned the card over in her hands, suddenly
thinking, they are from Oz. She opened the card slowly holding her
breath.

"You have no idea how precious you are, do you?"

She shook her head, what the heck was this. She turned the card over,
looking for a name, any clue as to who sent this. She knew it wasn't
Oz.
It wasn't his handwriting. It wasn't Buffy or Xander, they had their
own
honeys to worry about.
Maybe Giles? Would he do something like this just to cheer her up?

There was knock on her door, pulling her out of her thoughts. She
opened
the door slowly. "Yes?"

On the other side was a man with flowers. "Willow Rosenberg?"

"Um, Yes."

"These are for you."

"Thanks"

It continued like that for almost an hour until she was surrounded by
flowers. Each with a different card.

"You are beautiful."

"You are wonderful."

"If I could give you the world. I would."
Going on and on like that, making her smile and blush.

There was one last knock. She cleared a space for the next vase and
went
to the door.

"Willow?"

"Yes."

She took them in and read the last card.

"Because you are more than just 'a good friend'. I have never thought
of
you as a second choice. To my beautiful, wonderfu,l Red."

That was all she needed to know who had done this. She had never
expected a vampire to have so much heart.
