Thousand Arms

Arguably one of the best RPGs in existence, this unique fantasy game features high-quality anime sequences (which is always a plus), a good storyline, plenty of fight scenes, and even a dating simulation. Yes, you heard correctly. A dating simulation. In this game, the women you fight alongside are also available for dating. The strange undertone in this is that when you date a girl, her Intimacy Rate (oh brother..) goes up, which helps when you go to upgrade your weapon in the Smithy.

The game is centered around a young man named Meis Triumph, a funny little guy who loves women with a passion and never ceases in pursuing them. In this way, he reminds one of Carrot..perhaps not as vulgar, though. Meis is quick to spot a pretty woman, and he would like to be surrounded by beautiful women one day, and he hopes that day is very soon. Apart from his frivolous flirting and other dating activities, Meis is a strong-hearted individual with a true hero's heart. Meis soons learns his destiny is to become a Spirit Blacksmith of the Light, and he quickly gains allies. One is another man named Muza Grifford...*sigh*..Oh yes, by the way, Muza is the one in the picture above. Muza es muy guapo, no? Oh..si. Ack! Gomen nasai..

The game has many strange towns to explore, many, many bosses to defeat, and interesting characters. Thousand Arms also features voice actors in important scenes, which can be serious or downright hilarious. The Bandiger scene in the Damashi casino-type place was pretty funny..(he cusses you out!)Thousand Arms is a really great game, mostly due to the interesting characters that you meet. The only slightly annoying thing of the game is this: it ended.
