Kuririn Kuririn is one of the main characters in Dragonball and DBZ. He is Gokou's best friend throughout the series. He is trained by Kamesennin. He remains a capable fight for most of the DB-DBZ series, but when the Super Saiya-jins start taking over, he just can't keep up. The 2nd strongest human in the world, he is extremely brave when he has to be. In Dragonball, Kuririn trains with Gokou under Muten Roshi. He enters the budokais, and does fairly well. In the beginning of DBZ, Kuririn watches his best friend die. For the next year he must train to prepare for the Saiya-jins and protect the Earth. He trains at Kami's Palace. When the Saiya-jins arrive they plant Saibamen. When the second one kills Yamucha, Kuririn is furious. He powers up higher than ever, and he fires a huge blast, killing 3 saibamen. Kuririn is one of the few characters who don't die at the hands of Nappa, and if it weren't for Vegeta, he would've killed Nappa with a Kienzan because of Nappa's idiocy. After Gohan goes Oozaru and Vegeta is defeated, Kuririn is about to kill Vegeta to finish him for good. Gokou begs him not to, eventually and reluctantly Kuririn gives in, and lets the evil Saiya-jin prince go. Kuririn plays a major role in the Freeza saga. He receives a power up from Saichorou, the Namek Elder which makes him much stronger. Kuririn attempts to fight the Ginyu Tokusentai. He and Gohan dominate Gerudo, but Gerudo uses his psychic powers to defeat them. He holds them still with a special attack. They're about to be killed, but are saved by Vegeta. Later on against Rekim, Vegeta is getting dominated. Rekim charges his Eraser Gun and is about to kill Vegeta, but Gohan and Kuririn save him. Rekim knocks Kuririn out of the battle in one hit. When they fight Freeza, Kuririn gets stabbed through the chest by Stage 2 Freezer. He is healed by Dende and survives. He wastes some time after that, while Gohan gets helaed, and doesn't get involved anymore. When Freeza returns after being badly hurt by the Spirit...Genkidama... he takes his anger out on Kuririn. He lifts him into the air and telepathically blows him up. Gokou is furious. He just witnessed his best friend explode in little bits. Gokou goes Super Saiya-jin for the first time, all because of Kuririn. He is wished back shortly after. KRILLINS IN DA HOUSE! Kuririn trains for the androids the next 3 years, but doesn't get involved when they arrive much. He's basically the Senzu distributor. He develops a crush on Juuhachigou, Android 18. At the Cell game, he gets his ass kicked by a Cell Jr. It's his idea to have the bombs inside the androids removed. In the Buu saga, Kuririn is married to android 18, has a full head of hair and even has a daughter, Marron. He is turned to stone by Dabura's spit when the whole gang is spying on Babidi. He returns to normal shortly after. He goes up to Kami's Palace, and stays there with his friends and family while people on Earth die. When Buu escapes from the Room of Spirit and Time, he is going to kill everyone on Karin Tower. Kuririn is the only capable fighter there, so he makes an attempt to fight Buu to protect his family, even though he has absolutely no chance. He is turned into a chocolate bar, and eaten(killed). He is wished back, and contirbutes to the Genkidama that saves the universe. I don't know anything about him in GT, so thats all for Kuririn. |
