He is not actually the real Trowa Barton, but he witnessed the real Trowa's death and takes on the job of piloting Heavyarms, and Trowa's name. He is thought to be Catherine's brother, Trinton Bloom.

The tallest of the gundam pilots, Trowa's usual attire in the show consists of a blue-green turtleneck and jeans. To conceal his identity as a gundam pilot, Trowa joined a travelling circus and became a clown. The role of a clown does not really suit his personallity however. Trowa is the quietest one of them all, hardly ever showing any emotion at all. Unlike Heero's icy glares, he seems to be hiding the past and has a look more of deep understanding and the little bit of sorrow that shows.
