About Amaterasu's Child
Profile: Date Seiji (or Sage Date) is the bearer of the
Korin no yoroi/Armor of Halo. He has two sisters; Yayoi
and Satsuki. He is the heir to his family's dojo in Sendai.
Sage is a descendant of the Japanese general Date Masemune,
the infamous 'One-eyed Dragon'. Of all the Ronin Warriors,
he is the wisest and one of the most intelligent (after
Rowan of the 250 IQ.) Sage is the Ronin healer and the
only one to have a blatantly obvious Warlord counterpart
(Cale, Warlord of Darkness.) His American incarnation is
dubbed the 'Flirt King of Han'a High', something that
seems very odd when you find out that the original is
terrified of the opposite gender. Sage is my favorite
Ronin and tied for my favorite character with Dais. Why?
1: The looks. I love bishonen blonds (See 'South Sea Dragon's Lait'; 'Temple of the Kokoro no Seishi') and Sage is one of the
hottest. Plus, he's got my favorite eye color (violet.)
2: The brains. His virtue's Wisdom (in RW, anyway),
he's the second-smartest Ronin (after Rowan), he's the
wisest Ronin, and he's the best tactician. Also, he's
very perceptive. ('Friend or Foe'; he let Kento beat him
up because he refused to fight a friend and saw through
Dais's illusion.)
3: The style. This includes the hairstyle, fashion
sense, and fighting style. What can I say? I love
swordfighting, and Sage's one of the best.
4: The talents--both physical and esotorical. Warrior,
healer, scholar, tactician, leader, follower, teacher,
flirt...
5: The armor. I like lightning, and the Korin no yoroi
is my favorite armor of the nine Ronin armors, the Inferno,
and Kayura's battle-armor.
